I know! I dont like the feeling of griddy lips either!? BUt you could also try the Palladio lipsticks. They are kinda like lip butters but not as sheer. I got mine at Sally's Beauty Supply and they are around $6. But some of they Palladio lipsticks are sheer and some are more buildable. They are also very mousterizing and you dont even need a gloss!

I bought two, one in Peach Parfait and one in Pink Truffle. I gave the peach one to my sister, and she likes it. I really like the color of Pink Truffle. The only thing I don't like it how it wears off throughout the day. It clung to the dry parts of my lips, but a lot of lipsticks tend to do that anyway. They're definitely good for the price.

I have the one in creamsicle.. it sat on my lips, almost looked crusty if you looked close enough, despite looking great from afar. I find it didn't actually moisturize my lips, or had a creamy consistency. Even after exfoliating and moisturizing my lips first, when I put the revlon lip butter on it applied in a way that makes my lips appear dry and crusty and cracked... ugh.
