@slapking12 I believe that the US Navy alone could take out Brazil's armed forces alone. The US Navy alone has more ship carriers and aircraft than Brazil's Navy and Air Force combined. In Iraq, the US deployed a fraction of our military. I imagine that if war with Brazil (impossibly unlikely) were to ever break out that number would very significantly increase. The United States has more reserve and active personnel than Brazil, superior equipment, and superior training.

LOL what? You think the southeastern US would get taken over first? Jesus christ, you have NEVER been to the south if you think that. They might have more military personnel than us, but for every SCO troop that lands on southern American soil, there will be three rednecks with hunting rifles chomping at the bit to kill him LOL.
Also, the SCO is slightly more powerful by way of manpower, but their navy is far inferior to NATO's. You still need to land troops and blockade to win a war.

The SCO is a business organization, not a military alliance. Also, China and Russia aren't the best of friends, and I don't think they were all the best buddies during the Cold War. Even today, their interests are separate. I think NATO vs. CSTO is more realistic, with China and North Korea not engaging. The Chinese even now are developing their economy more so than their military.

@knoose india is a sco observer and has very strong relations with Russia. I put Japan on USAs side. In S. America, Venezuela, Bolivia and Ecuador have good relations with russia and China, as well as brazil. Russia supports Venezuela and its allies militarily.

@slapking12 1) Latin America's military is like a joke. We've never lost a war to a Latin power. We're on pretty good terms with all of them, with the exception of Cuba. I believe that defeating Latin America in a war, we could really use help form out allies, but it wouldn't be super hard.

@slapking12 Like I said, were on good terms with both Brazil and Argentina. Why wage war against them? Also, were not in a Iraq. We managed to quell secualr violence at the loss of 4,400 or so men. The Soviets lost 14,453 men.

@slapking12 I believe that the US Navy alone could take out Brazil's armed forces alone. The US Navy alone has more ship carriers and aircraft than Brazil's Navy and Air Force combined. In Iraq, the US deployed a fraction of our military. I imagine that if war with Brazil (impossibly unlikely) were to ever break out that number would very significantly increase. The United States has more reserve and active personnel than Brazil, superior equipment, and superior training.

No se deveria subestimar paises como China, aparte de su experiencia miliar Tiene un ejercito de casi 10 millones de unidades y armados con QBZ-95. No basta decir nada de Russia, todos sabemos como a logrado victorya y gloria en cada una de sus guerras y batallas, y con su super produccion masiva y aparte gran poblacion dejan a la NATO combatiendo 5 contra 1.
