@FasTtortoise yes indeed, parents got me one, since i had mine i love driving it, it last a long timee fun to ride, an you could put alot of things into it.
@FasTtortoise great first car not much can beat them, i get 34 mpg at 75 mph and it's turning over 1/4 of a million miles in like a week or so, very dependable, just a pain in the ass to do work to because it's an actual "compact" car under the hood
dlutz88, if you're not mechanically inclined, don't change it at home. adam, hondas always tick. the valves become noisy when theyre old, you may want to adjust the valves.
okay so i have a 96' accord ex with 111,000 miles on it, so its fairly new. its in good condition, but i have one question. the engine kinda ticks like his does, is that normal?
Anyways, my girlfriend and I have the same car. After driving the new 2009 Dodge Challenger SE, it's time for a trade in. Though I'd rather have the RT, I'm not made of money. I need something a tad bit, 'up-to-date'.
No offense, but apparently you comprehended what he was talking about, so no need to point people out do to there ignorance of sentence fragmentation. I assume you only do this do to your obsessive grammatical errors with punctuations. It's okay, you keep putting two explanation points after those words and quotations marks that are actually unnecessary. By the way, you forgot to capitalize "or". :)
"Nice Car man, im getting mine tonight 1994 EXi-s 2.2l SOHC Vtec. " nice man hows the vtec in the accord? i just sold my prelude vtec yesterday n picked up a 94 accord coupe.
I have a '96. Its an EX so it has the v-tec motor. i bought it in february with 118,000 miles and now i've got 131,000. zero problems so far. anyways they're awesome cars.
was the engine cold or hot when u started the car?, my timeing belt is making a noise it never made before, but only when the engine warms up and the thing is it was just replaced
That was a cold start, you can tell because of the high idle. Also, you can tell because you can hear the valve lifters, that chattering noise you hear, it sounds the same on my car. After the engine warms up, the noise goes away.
I have the same exact car. Had it for almost 3 months now. Been great so far. I had a oil leak but that was probably because it had been sitting for a while. Lucas handled it pretty well. I have no clue about the timing belt. I don't know if it was a new one already in it when I bought it or not. So I'm just going to drive it until it goes.
I also have a '94 Accord, since we bought it new, there has been no major problems besides the parts that go on all cars eventually due to age (the hoses, radiator, and exhaust). You might want to have them check the timing belt next time you bring it in for an oil change, because if that goes, it will take the engine with it (the pistons will hit the valves and bend them). Besides that, just do regular maintence and you shouldn't have many problems.
i think this guy is stalking the car lol

Doesn't anyone speak English? The valves need adjustment!! or they need "to be" adjusted! "Valves need adjusted" doesn't make any sense!!

i think u meant "due" instead of "do" and "their" instead of "there"...
back to hondas, these were great cars that have engines that push 200,000miles with little maintenance
