Yes, he probably did practice this w/ gagner on the knights many times. However, his 1st 2 shoutout goals (Wings/Preds) were nearly the same move but he finished w/ the backhand instead of faking backhand and pulling it back to forehand. This being his 3rd shootout goal, he may have added the "gagner touch" because he was 2for2and golaies were starting to pay attention to what he likes to do... so he didn't want to get caught by a goalie catching on.
