Why would anyone expect online from this game? Jedi vs. Sith? How could that POSSIBLY work, with THESE gameplay mechanics?
I mean, the "no online" complaints made sense with Uncharted 1, because it was largely a third-person shooter, but how could a single-player brawler possibly work well online?

The camera ruins this otherwise decent game. 6 out of 10 is about right but the camera could've improved the game to about a 7.5. It's very cool to throw people around and the game has some pretty cool longevity like replaying it to get all of the holocrons etc...

Having no means of specifying what you want to lock on to, the auto targeting can only be described as completely random.... IF that werent enough you can actually lock onto a direction too... not just enemies, turrets and assorted objects... but northm south east and west too!! Crap crap crap camera. Need to get used to fighting enemies that are off screen fast.

WORST GAME EVER.
You can never target the right things. You're always being knocked down. You're always missing your jumps by millimeters and you're always taking part in long drawn out 'puzzles'.
The Star Destroyer scene was TERRIBLE. I spent an hour trying to figure out what the hell I had to do.
Boss fights are nearly impossible due to the messed up camera and the game actually targets according to the char's view, bot the player's view.
the game got a 5/10 for me until i used cheats then and put the game on easy then it was a 7.5/10. the only that made this game fun were the boss battles out of all those training roooms they forgot jedi sparring! what idiots. the levels were so played out!it was like gta 4 missions w/o the euphoria though just kill people till you complete the game...WOW! wish i could develope games. i apperciate the time and acknowledge that this was for us, but why so simple? this isn't what star wars is like

i would give it a solid 8 out of 10 has a few problems from holding it back from being a true classic but this is one of the much better star wars games and hopefully they'll fix them in the Force Unleashed 2 =)

This game is not worth buying. for one the game play is about 4 hours long and VERY simple. The world feels empty often i was left with the feeling WHY SHOULD I CARE, but if your a die hard star wars fan then u would most likely see thing in the game that us normal people dont.
And don't the devs know that enemies just running around in circles blindly firing their weapons (despite being up against somebody who could kill them just by thinking it) is more realistic than standing out of harms way in a corner?
But I do agree on one thing - no multiplayer? C'mon, I know the devs could have easily fit multiplayer into the game (seriously)

its an ok game but nothing great, like u fight sooo sloww with a light saber, u have to have a massive gap to switch from slashing to blocking... and it makes u feel like ur charicter cant keep up with u, i was hoping it would be alott better than it was, which i guess i should of expected from breaking my rule of never geting video games based on movies.. just that star wars games are sometimes really good

About the Multiplayer issue, the wii version actually has local multiplayer, it is just a duel mode, but it IS better than no multiplayer, I found it pretty fun when I had the game, I just rented it, not bought it

@SlasherCheetah I'd highly recommend inFAMOUS 2, then. Early in the game, you gain the ability to throw cars. You can throw them EXTREMELY far, and they create big explosions.
They said winter 2008 i was so excited then it was spring and it was one month to spring then they said fall.... almost a year of waiting for it, and it was horrible. I was hoping for a awesome jedi vs jedi fights online, also the game just goes thought a story line, no free mode where you can fight other computer jedi, but no not even that. Buy the game but don't play on anything lower than sith Lord. When I first got it I thought it was extremely frustrating but followed through with it to hear the great story. I popped it in again a couple weeks ago and played it on Sith Master and it's now one of my favorite games. it's also a great achievo hunter game.
I believe he was rating it as a star wars fan and not as a professional reviewer in this instance. He kept on focusing on how he was such and how it was flawed in terms of Star Wars.
As a game it is quite entertaining and has very high replay value with all the unlockable content, story arcs, and outfits. What you expect from a game shouldn't affect the rating for a game so drastically; it's more of a personal problem in that aspect which results in a personal review.
What alot of people seem to be missing is the fact that he rates the games taking everything into account.
For everyone who said he is bad at reviewing because you enjoyed the game so it deserves a 8/10 not 6/10 Fine but at the end of the day it is a short game and there is no online play.

I bought this game and it is good. Gamespot, not Gamestop, got the review right. They gave it a 7.6, or 7.5, i dont remember. It had a good gameplay, plot, and graphics. The bad was that it was too short, the aiming with the force grip was off and the boss missions weren't that surprising because it was the same old story over and over again. The Good: Gameplay, graphics, and plot. The Bad: Aiming is off, story line is short, and a bit repative. 7.6 or 7.5. Good.
Why is not being an online game a minus? I think if its online game and the online gameplay is bad, then dink it. But if is standalone and good, then it shouldn't lose any points.

well, I got this game for ps2... graphics were excellent (does take up 1mb on memory card) if you are thinking of getting it, I suggest renting it because i beat the game in the first day i got it. it was fun... they should've added in customizable characters (take pieces of characters and costumesand adding them to your character, vader helm and grevious body... something like that) customizable lightsabers also, quad sabers and stuff! that would be an awsome addition! 7/10 for this game
i have this game. it deserves an 8/10 in my opinion. it has great graphics, a very good storyline (kinda short though), and a good combat system. you can even change the color of your lightsaber and the attributes you get from it. and you can change your apperance (sith stalker armor is badass). but that's just me lol

He's wrong. This is a great game. It's very easy to use the force. Once you get your powers up you'll be making shit of everyone on screen in spectacular fasion.
Combat is smooth an fluid also and the game has a good atmosphere to it.
Only complaint is the jumping. It's very hard to jump onto small objects accurately.
I agree with Blitzhh, 9.5/10... I wasn't expecting TOO much from this game when it came out, and after beating it for the first time I was slightly disappointed (mainly by the horrid star destroyer part) but in my next 2 playthroughs I learned to focus on the better parts of it, and how amazingly well they were put together.. the targeting system for force powers is a LITTLE hard to use, but other than that this game was beautifully made, and Sith Lord difficulty was nicely scaled.. DLC good too

I believe he was rating it as a star wars fan and not as a professional reviewer in this instance. He kept on focusing on how he was such and how it was flawed in terms of Star Wars.
As a game it is quite entertaining and has very high replay value with all the unlockable content, story arcs, and outfits. What you expect from a game shouldn't affect the rating for a game so drastically; it's more of a personal problem in that aspect which results in a personal review.

What alot of people seem to be missing is the fact that he rates the games taking everything into account.
For everyone who said he is bad at reviewing because you enjoyed the game so it deserves a 8/10 not 6/10 Fine but at the end of the day it is a short game and there is no online play.
saying this game deserves a 8/10 means you obviously dont understand games and are the kind of people that would compare this to games like fallout 3 claiming there on par game wiise.

Bagging on a console game's camera is NOT NEW to us.. it gives you control with thumbstick - ergo: its just as good/bad as every other game.
No multiplayer? Get phucked, you don't need m.play to be a good game. Go buy a mmo.

This game isn't bad mates, if you're a star wars fan it's great. if not, its still a fun xbox360 game if you're on the hunt for one.
ps. didn't see any tearing myself, and the loading screen also isn't a headache like gramps here would make out.

I meant what I said when I mentioned he doesn't know half the games he reviews. for ex: he kept calling the infected in RE5 zombies, and I.D.G.A.R.A if he gave this game a bad review because I never really listened to the video just read the comments and bought the game anyway.

I bought this game and it is good. Gamespot, not Gamestop, got the review right. They gave it a 7.6, or 7.5, i dont remember. It had a good gameplay, plot, and graphics. The bad was that it was too short, the aiming with the force grip was off and the boss missions weren't that surprising because it was the same old story over and over again. The Good: Gameplay, graphics, and plot. The Bad: Aiming is off, story line is short, and a bit repative. 7.6 or 7.5. Good.

Why is not being an online game a minus? I think if its online game and the online gameplay is bad, then dink it. But if is standalone and good, then it shouldn't lose any points.

well, I got this game for ps2... graphics were excellent (does take up 1mb on memory card) if you are thinking of getting it, I suggest renting it because i beat the game in the first day i got it. it was fun... they should've added in customizable characters (take pieces of characters and costumesand adding them to your character, vader helm and grevious body... something like that) customizable lightsabers also, quad sabers and stuff! that would be an awsome addition! 7/10 for this game

People are a bit too hard on this game.
I think it was extremely fun, and I loved upgrading, fighting, struggling with bosses, and everything.
Only problem was that it was far too short.

i have this game. it deserves an 8/10 in my opinion. it has great graphics, a very good storyline (kinda short though), and a good combat system. you can even change the color of your lightsaber and the attributes you get from it. and you can change your apperance (sith stalker armor is badass). but that's just me lol

How the fuck do this game suck?!?!. This game is almost perfect, you try making a game then.
People is so fuckin spoiled these days when it comes to games. The story is great, the graphics is awesome (1080p), & the sound is great (5.1 Dolby digital).
Games like COD4, Bioshock, ect, have everyone so fuckin spoiled. Developers put years worth of work into a game that only costs $60. Stop fuckin complaining about nothin, if u want to complain about a game, complain about 'Killzone2'.

He's wrong. This is a great game. It's very easy to use the force. Once you get your powers up you'll be making shit of everyone on screen in spectacular fasion.
Combat is smooth an fluid also and the game has a good atmosphere to it.
Only complaint is the jumping. It's very hard to jump onto small objects accurately.
8.5/10 Very good game.

I agree with Blitzhh, 9.5/10... I wasn't expecting TOO much from this game when it came out, and after beating it for the first time I was slightly disappointed (mainly by the horrid star destroyer part) but in my next 2 playthroughs I learned to focus on the better parts of it, and how amazingly well they were put together.. the targeting system for force powers is a LITTLE hard to use, but other than that this game was beautifully made, and Sith Lord difficulty was nicely scaled.. DLC good too
