  • my blender did not survive this, even after adding much more than the stated amount of coconut water.

  • How come it stopped short after adding the figure 8 of strawberry coulis? Now what?

  • IT IS ALL FAT

May be fun and better than SAD

but this is no way to eat

    READ 80/10/10 by Doug Graham

Even if you're not into 811 100%, it's has valuable information about raw eating

  • @ocergnairb Doug Graham is an extremist. 80/10/10 is pseudo-science with little to no proof provided for his theories. Blindly believing that man is dangerous. All you have to do is take one look at Doug Graham to know he is not healthy. He looks much older than he really is and he looks sick. I'm not saying the recipe in this video is the pinnacle of health either, but I do not support Doug Graham or 80/10/10.

  • what did u use for the cheesecake base?

  • looks good, wish we say the end result but i would like to try it..:)

  • pine nuts are sooooooo expensive. Thats rich ice cream. Im not giving any to the kids lol. Im gonna make it while they are in school.

  • im a carnivore but id deff order that.

  • WTF was that shit

  • The raw vegan food diet has no predecessors and therefore, its not natural at all. No civilization in history has had a completely vegan diet, and if any, they were all unsuccessful. Meat = strength and victory.

  • @ScopedOUT2 spiritualists since ancient times have at one time or another followed a raw vegan diet. Indian renunciants in the past lived vegetarian lives...and followed a mostly vegan and often raw diet in the forests. Meat is about blood and war, vegan/veggie diets are about peace and spirituality. You are what you eat.

  • @AquaStar0 Im a vegetarian. I dont really think any animals were harmed in the making of my milk and what not but this is interesting might try it out on my bf lol hes a veggie too

  • @ScopedOUT2 meat = killing war hate....

  • @Kurasutaru Meat = proof that most forests cannot sustain an entire vegetarian diet. This is why every early human civilization hunted land and water animals for food. Meat is the reason for success.

Less time spent hunting and gathering, more time thinking, constructing and innovating.

  • @ScopedOUT2 Read the Bible, in there God created man to be a raw vegan.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy I read the bible before, even though I'm not christian. Furthermore, just because there was no mention of eating meat in Heaven, doesn't mean it wasn't consumed. It's also irrelevant whether or not it was consumed in Heaven. Adam & Eve were only there for a very short time before they were sent to earth.

Furthermore, in Heaven we can enjoy meats of all sorts. You can refer to suratul waqiah. Search it up.

  • @ScopedOUT2 Wow dude, you obviously haven't read the Bible at all. In the Bible it says God created the earth, then created man out of the dust of the earth, He then told man that he was only to eat the fruit of the trees, the grass of the field and the green herb. Only after the great flood did God allow man to eat meat. Try reading the Bible again, you may just learn something about the ancient people and where we're heading, also try reading some other ancient texts, you'll see the truth.

  • @TheAmazingJimmy Please learn to read and analyze my comments. Futhermore, I'll never go back to reading the Bible again. It's the most blasphemous book I've every read in my life. It's a book that claims those commissioned by God, men who're supposed to be the purest of pure, were actually evil?

  • How long do you bake it in the oven for?

  • @ScopedOUT2

it's a raw cake.... as in not cooked. you put it in the fridge to set.

  • @VelvetSpade42 I know it's raw... I was just saying that to annoy the raw vegan movement that was designed to create a following by two low-life doctors who have self-esteem issues.

  • @ScopedOUT2 YOU DONT! its a raw cake, you leave it in the fridge to set.

  • cake looks nice, video is bad.

  • The instructions for this are not very clear... too many steps are missing... horrible editing....

  • Looks very rich, calorie dense and full of fat.

  • all expensive stuff :P

  • Very interesting, just wish I knew the full ending.

  • I was excited for this ... BUT I am allergic to coconut :( there goes that for me

  • @XbitternessXbarbieX From what I've read you can actually reverse food allergies by introducing a tiny bit of the food you're allergic to, over time your body will readjust it's self to where you can safely eat that food. I've never been able to truly test this out for myself though because I have no food allergies, that I know of at least.

  • Coulis is spelled C O U L I S, not cooley.

  • where is the rest of the video...this was not very informative...what was the base made from?

  • Great Video. (cough boobies cough milf )

  • Nice work, we liked your video very much so we embedded it on ChefCommons w/ link back and reference to Youtube. (Let us know if you don't wish for it to be featured)

  • instructions were kind of clear..

  • I love agave syrup. When you are macrobiotic/vegan you don't have honey, so agave is a wonderful substitute

  • i wish i could have seen the final product....looks good though..

  • You may as well have real cheese cake with a buttercream frosting! DO they not know how to show the finished product? That bad huh.

  • This is a very calorie/fat dense dessert but looks yummy. Why isn't she using vanilla beans instead of vanilla extract? Vanilla extract contains alchohol, sugar, glycerine and other unhealthy additives. Why pollute an otherwise pure healthy dessert?

  • its all raw so its mainly the unsaturatured fat that we need. not all vanilla extract has alcohol and not all extract is made from regular alcohol. the more expensive the brand the more likely it is to be either alcohol free- or made with natural grain alcohol.

  • maybe she is using organic vanilla extract...?

  • yes its high in calories but it's a dessert. u're not supposed to have this instead of lunch every day. :D)

  • What's agave?

  • Agave syrup (also called agave nectar) is a sweetener commercially produced in Mexico. Agave syrup is sweeter than honey, though less viscous.

  • not to mention the price on cashews...

  • and the fact there are basically no raw cashews because of the shelling process

  • Thank you. Great recipe and delicious pie. It took me about two hours to make two. Preparing the coconut takes the longest time. I made a strawberry coolie to pour on the top. I made the crust with brazil nuts and dates and hazelnuts. I took one pie to our vegan potluck and it evaporated almost instantly.I used ripe organic Sierra foothills grown strawberries and the flavor was just right. I think this I want this again as my last meal on Earth.

  • Two spoons of that and my poor gallbladder would go insane for two days

  • ah coulis? not cooley lol. But looks sooo good, but way too fatty!

  • not all fat is bad. plant based fat is healthy in moderation. Not to mention humans (especially women) need fat in their diet.

  • Yes, of course fat is necessary, i understand that, but like a lot of desserts, maybe this one has too much? idk.

  • You could be right. :) I don't claim to be a nutritionist.

  • xD. If you think about it, cheesecake has probably as much fat as this. So eh, what the heck, just take a little slice. :D

  • Have you noticed that raw foodists eat a high amount of good fats and never gain weight? good stuff!

  • high fat is bad on any diet. And they gain weight too.

  • thisa loooka goooda, thisa isa the besta.

  • Coconut rocks and so does this receipe! I am going to tell the world about raw foods and what they have done for my body and how they have made me thin again:) I love raw food

  • This recipe looks good, but I'm allergic to coconut.

  • No prob. Use nut curd, same consistency as creamcheese

  • she blend the red thins :(, shut an waste.

  • What's this "cooley" thing???.... surely you meant coulis, which is the accepted spelling around the rest of the world..

    Ahhh, Americans...

  • Just a comment I have seen 'cheesecakes' made with nut and bean curd. It is very close to the texture of the real thing.

  • Why do you always use a blender for all of your recipes? Do you think it would mix easier with a mixer or a food processor?

  • u should've showed how it looked finished.

  • @LoveMyPhilly i agree I wanted to see the swirls and then all of a sudden...GONE

  • Better than cutting off the green parts of the strawberries is using only ripe strawberries. These are much better and taste sweeter than the others.

  • Now this looks so good. I love your website rawfoodmedia dot com is great thanks for creating so many videos on a subject that is well needed to educate the public about their health!

  • Thanks for the interest guys!

  • GREAT video on how to make strawberry cheese cake!

  • no bodies perfect

  • I always wanted to be so lucky that I have in my fridge so much of coconut meat!
