They simply need to increase taxes on the rich. The rich can afford to contribute a more fair share for the security and prosperity they enjoy by living here. By forcing the wealthy to pay more, the rest of the population would have more money to spend to stimulate the economy. Public services cost money and somebody has to pay taxes to fund police, prisons, environmental protection and public infrastructure, safety and health services. Key government responsibilities.
