  • Cool!

I plan to try this with an old 70's HiPlot plotter I have.

I needs me to get some form of PCB manufacturing capability!

  • No videos at the moment, but will keep you posted, just working on driving two stepper motors with HPGL code, but code is very much my weekpoint and this is the first time iv had t use HPGL.

  • very interesting work, I would love to know just how detailed image you could store on the Atmega168s flash? and is your USB just for the 5V or are you sending serial data from your computer?

  • Thanks! The USB is for 5V only. In this case the Arduino is drawing randomly this means no picture information is stored on the Atmega. Working on storing pictures... Video will be out "soon".

  • Then I will subscribe and wait! :)

Im working on using the Arduino to run two stepper motors as i vertical plotter, so will watch your work with keen interest!

  • have you got videos or so? Interested in any exchange!!

Fortunately i go a scale of projects right now Im working on but I try to keep working on all of them.

I got this plotter from an university. They kicked it into the trash. I got it out and now Im not printing scientific results but art. arrt! greets!

If your interested in stepper motors search for somthing like "hacking servo motors" or so. they got servor running full scale. around and around and around back and forth. cj!
