Thoroughly American product? Igorance is bliss in America (yes, I'm an American). Fact: REAL Budweiser comes from the town of Cesky Budejovice, Czech Republic (Once called "Budweis" by the Germans during one of their many occupations of that region- I've been there).

Other than the name real Bud bears no resemblance to that Panther Piss they make in St. Louis. If you want to know what real Budweiser tastes like you can get it on tap in England and much of Europe under the name Budweiser and/or Budvar.

In the states you can get it as "Czechvar" which I do regularly. Be forewarnded: as with all foreign imports the US Government makes the bottler add extra preservatives for shipping which do knock down the taste a bit. Adolphus Busch copied the name after a visit to the region in the 1800s. As for Belgians owning American Budweiser, maybe they can impart some European quality into that redneck garbage beer.
