That is brilliant, I have a couple of ebay find mec1's with bits missing i'm tempted to have a go at this myself. as soon as i can find a suitable t piece =-).
hello sir!, yep it was the timing of the cranks, the crank i fitted to the end of the existing shaft isnt the best fit, so it moved a bit ,in the build, just needed a "slight twist" to the right lol
as for the se3, still on my to do list, but man there expensive on the ebay, even in poor condition , on a lighter note im making a video at the mo of a early manchester "rapidor" power hacksaw im restoring, regards chris
thanx, the small boiler struggles to keep up,it needs a bigger burner and perhaps a steam regulator behind the tee, but I'm surprised its not been done before,, yep looking forward to the se3 lets hope ebays kind to me lol
hiya!, the se3 is mamods biggest steam engine, there reasonably cheap and readily available so its not like your tearing up anything rare lol, there is a mamod se3 "three cylinder" already built on youtube i also have a twin on my videos, chris

Help me please! I've got two of these little engines, the same model.
Where can I get the little washer gaskets from?

Very well done. Have you tried the cranks at 180 degrees apart like the SE3 ?

@DLRTV
thanks, good idea 180 degrees ill look at that, i think mine where 90 degrees, as i read it would self start , but didnt lol
