What are you all talking about? Sure they broke up and left Broken Iris in their wake, but they made many songs. I have a CD given to me by the lead singer, Adam. I know the guy! They made fantastic music and i wish Broken Iris kept that old sound, but eh... oh well. I even have four of the original Broken iris songs which in my opinion are much better than the album versions. but that's just me, the Broken Iris album still rocks!
I wish I did know more of their songs, but I've only listened to Pandora recently and this is the only song they have of Turning Point.
I didn't know Adam was the vocalist for Turning Point, although that does explain the similarity in style between the two bands. As for the original songs, I've heard a version of Beautiful Girl with an acoustic guitar in place of the violin, and I think it's better than the album version.
And last I've heard, Broken Iris broke up. I'm not sure though...
@CrashTestZ0mbie One of these days I'll take the time to learn how to upload music and I'll put it all on there. I've got something like twelve or thirteen songs from Tunring Point, and I guess I only have THREE original Broken Iris tracks, and one track that was Adam doing his own thing. I guess you're right though, I haven't heard anything in a long while since the break up, so for all I know they could very well be working together again.
@Blink182link64 did you upload the songs? I really would love to hear them since their music is amazing and no matter how much i search I can'y find any turning point songs. :]
@CrashTestZ0mbie As far as better songs go though, I guess I shouldn't say that some are better than others. Broken Iris' album was awesome, there's no doubt about it. I guess I just meant to say that personally I just prefer rock over ambient music. Both are great though.
