  • @discodave one is a gps collar another is a pitch collar witch gives high pitch sounds to the dog to tell what to do they both have remotes one is a bell and the bag is probably a bag if treats

  • @bigmouth825 Well the best bread is either a britanny spaneil a german short haired pointer also known as a gsp or a brocco italiano with is italian u may have seen a beagle but thzy were probably hunting small game in genral i have done that and hunt uplabd only too so i have a beagle and a gsp

  • Nice video . Nice Shot . Cute and good DOG !

  • was it pheasent

  • Great video and GSP. Its great to see that you are getting the youngsters out hunting keeping the tradition going.

  • very nice...i had a shorthair named Mike...he was my zen hunting dog and i miss him terribly....

  • looks like u had fun

  • man cant wait till pheasant season gonna be great

  • Nice Vid and nice shot

  • thats stupid yeasterday i only shot 3

  • what do u think would be the best pheasant dog when i was hunting pheasant i saw a beagle just wondering what breed would be the best

  • Everyone has their preference. This is our first bird dog. Talk to a lot of hunters and breeders. We settled on a gsp from top gun kennels in iowa cause their name kept coming up at hunt tests that we went to while researching what kind to get.

  • thanks alot

  • well i have 2 yellow labs and a german shorthair pointer and they r really good dogs so yeah

  • I use a yellow lab.I trained him myself. He is one of the best dogs I ever owned

  • i had a labrador and my uncle has a springer spaniel and now i have a wire-haired german pointer..

the pointer is by far my fave dog..!!

    fantastic to watch and relaxed...

my uncle is more impatient and the springer is ideal for him but its a job to keep up with him at times..!!

i think for pheasant you should go with a pointer.

the springer is better for woodcock and in thick areas where u may not see the pointer on a set..

    open fields = pointer

    thick woods = springer spaniel

  • @bigmouth285 A beagle?? they are not a bird dog man, used for raccons or foxes ect, what u want is a spaniel, they hunt, flush and retrieve game to hand, an all round dog, but again everyone has their preferences!

  • @bigmouth285 if you have time and patience a english springer spaniel will go through any cover, and be loyal companians , in my eyes they are the only dog to use

  • now thats a good day! we have a beagle pup still teachin him.

  • a fine day indeed, thanks for sharing the moment

  • Who is the soundtrack?

Always fun to see the family out hunting together.

  • Look 2 comments above yours! lol

  • Whats with the collars on the dog and the bag strapped to his under him? Good shot BTW.

  • Great vid. What music?

  • Thanks! The artist is Willy Mason. The song is "Oxygen".

  • u got 2 great hunting frends there mayby 3 with the mrs. ! great musik to

  • Hey That's great.

    Good show

  • Hey. That's great!

    Nice solid point.

I think you have a winner there with both your 8 month old pup and your kids. Good show.

  • Only thing that will make that day better is when your running the camera and your boy shoots his first bird. I will never forget how happy i was when i shoot my first grouse but my dad was even crazier.

  • That's one of those things that you can't wait for, but on the other hand you don't want them to grow up any faster than they already are!

  • Nice looking GSP. Great point! Good job on the video.

  • Good video! And nice shot!
