  • i saw a ford dealership near crossing! gotta have a ford XD

  • Which state is this in?

  • @McAusten - NZ

  • @GeoffBlackmore - OK so this is NOT in Australia, then?

  • @McAusten - That's correct, New Zealand is not part of Australia.

  • Used to love walking past this sort of view in Napier every morning on the way to school

  • SWEET!

  • Awesome use of the tripod, Geoff! Your shot composition is great, too. I think you pulled back at just the right time. The train hadn't shrunk away significantly and we also get a view of the environment it was in, which is a significant part of the shot.

Do you have a professional video camera? I've been watching your clips for quite a while now and your camera along with your cinematography is of an awesome standard. I'd imagine looking at a camera similar to yours when mine carks it.

  • Camera was sitting on a fence post :)

It's actually just the movie mode on my still camera rather than a video camera, so it's pretty good for what it is.

    Thanks for commenting :)

  • Nice shot!

I like this place (C-track) and zooming.

  • Hey Geoff

Great job mate. The conditions didn't look all that favorable.

    Regards

    Marty

  • Thanks, but I think I pulled back a bit too early. Should have let the front of the train completely fill the screen.

  • Awesome video 5*****

  • The way you shot the beginning of this is COOL! It was like the train was about to come right out of the screen before you pulled away a bit.
