  • I love your videos and how easy, yet delicious they are! keep up the good work!!

  • I also love Mango Dal and I am Punjabi, but in my family we do not cook with all of these spices, too many spices are not good. My Dad was born in Amritsar and he said back home his Mother only used salt, black pepper, turmeric, and sometimes aam chor. We don't use all of these spices and we never use garlic in dal, only onions sometimes and tomatoes or dal. Even aloo tikki he said they only put salt in it and you eat it with chutney or pickles on the side, that is spicy enough.

  • i love the way u make recipe yummmmmmmmmmm

  • Thank you your dhall looks very tasty and interesting. My son can never wait for mangos to ripen , he often cuts them open and rejects them due to the sour taste, this is a good way to rescue them especially since they are so costly here in the UK Thanks again and what a smart kitchen you have Id like to know what all those appliances and gadgets are used for

  • Hello Sanjay garu,

My mom used to make it differently...she used to boil mangoes and dal together in the cooker and then put tadka...I tried this version today and it was too too good..Infact i made dal for 2 days and it just got over in 1 dinner...my gosh you can make people great chefs...amazing cooking...look the way you cook and inspire to cook...Hats off to you...Best chef ever

  • Oo this looks really interesting! I'm an arab and I also happen to be vegetarian and find Indian food to be particularly accommodating!

I don't understand one thing though- you said it took ya' 30mins to cook the daal?! How so?! I mean when I'm cooking, my daal takes eons to cook- 2 hours or so at least! Oh and I soak the daal overnight and cook it on high heat too! How did you manage to cut the cooking time by 75%?!

  • Use a pressure cooker to decrease cooking time.

  • I didn't know Indians eat unripe mangos too! I'm part Filipino, and we eat them raw with fish sauce as a snack. Very salty and tart but addicting. LOL I have to try this recipe soon!
