  • Back when Nick had a variety of shows and not just Spongebob all day long.

  • Those damnable slip n' slides never worked the way they were supposed to!

  • 2:21 I've had Sprinkled Chips Ahoy cookies when they used to be around. They were good.

  • lol @ the one where the girl is walking down the hallway all whiny about how her crush won't notice her, and then it turns out to be a PDA for exercise. Sweetie, your anorexic ass can skip the exercise -- just put on a low-cut shirt and he'll notice you. ;)

  • OMG! I so remember the fhe logo! They were on my Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle videos , Santa Clause is Coming to Town , Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer , Frosty the Snowman , and Little Drummer Boy VHS's. Joey Lawerence had just done Oliver and Company 2 years before the coke commercial.

  • the incredible true story of TMNT...

  • the incredible true story of TMNT...

  • finally my comments get through, anyway as i wanted to say. Ho-ly, Shiz-nit, Looney tunes used to be on nickelodeon! I dont know when in the 90's this commercial came out but i feel like the last to know. i was born in 94.

  • wow, a bunch of memory cells just fired. Thanks dude.

  • Thanks for the memories. I remember that coke commercial with the sister walking in very vividly.

  • 2:13 Bueller? Fry? Anyone?

  • Nick ; My child Hood

  • i remember having a slip and slide.....DAMM those things hert

  • @96mason omg me too. I remember I slide over a rock and i never went on another one again.

  • The Almanac was the internet at the time.

  • 90's commercials were so in your face..i want everything i just saw

  • i miss video cassetes D:

  • The F.Y.E Logo! Memories...

  • @liteskinnededgal You mean F.H.E.

  • @80sCommercialVault Yea haha. I was thinking of the music store when I typed that

  • tv before reality tv...

  • @cmb913

Seriously. Television has so little charm these days. Everything these days is a competition show for dancing or singing: Or you have the reality shows where you have talentless people acting a fool on camera (Jersey Shore, Teen Mom). What happened to the era of creative thinking?

  • Ah when TV Land was good. I mean it's still pretty okay, but I'd rather have a buttload of uncut classic sitcoms per day than..what is it now, nothing but daily marathons of Everybody Loves Raymond and The Nanny? Good shows but we don't need a whole channel for just two shows. And when they do air classic sitcoms they're butchered. Sanford and Son is especially obvious, for every two scenes they leave there's one they cut out.

  • @johntheumfreak This was years before the TV Land network existed...the ad is promoting Nick At Nite, which was a late night programming block on Nickelodeon.

  • I wish Sprinkled chips ahoy made a comeback

  • i had that he-man sword. it was the best

  • Hehe I miss the 90s

  • Sweet. I just watched Gremlins 2 this morning, now the brain gremlin says I should watch it again. Can't argue with that!

  • hmm I was probably biting those cookies wrong.

  • YES! The FHE intro! Love the ninja turtle videos.

  • the year i was born:)

  • @banginlikea747 plus this is back when nick at nite used to be good!

  • If I Would have that Sword in 0:43 , then i would say "I AM HEEEEEEE MAAAAANNNN!

  • Thumbs up if you hated when Nickelodeon switched over to Nick at Nite at 8PM when you were a kid.

  • @banginlikea747 Thumbs up if you're tired of people making "thumbs up" comments.

Also, Nick At Nite was a huge part of my childhood. There's no reason why programming for kids should extend into the wee hours of the morning.

  • @80sCommercialVault

I used to hate Nick at Night at a point, until I was like 9 and then I started to love watching Glligans Island reruns and other old shows from before I was born. I agree that Nick at Night sucks now. I miss I Love Lucy, The Brady Bunch, and the rest of the stuff like that.

  • @banginlikea747 Speak for yourself. I loved Nick at Nite just as much as Nickelodeon back then.

  • @banginlikea747 haha yea cause when nick at nite came on it was time for bed!

  • I watched the hula hoop part like 3 times. Couldnt stop laughing lmao

  • I'm 33 , and I don't remember that phaze in he-man history? The characters and the the sword of grayskull look completely different?

  • @jayce79 These toys were from "The New Adventures of He-Man", a short-lived animated TV series produced after "He-Man and the Masters of The Universe" ended.

  • I miss the 90's so much.

  • @WolfsFangFist6197 omg, me too man life was much simplier back then i mean the new technology is good but then again a curse at the same time kids dont go out and play as much and keep fit all kids do is play video games and on computers they dont interact with real ppl just on the internet very sad.

  • 2:25 those chips ahoy cookies with sprinkles were the best lol

  • ahhh those sprinkle cookiesssssss!!

  • Bueller Bueller Bueller

  • Thumbs up if you had the he-man power sword.

  • I liked how Skelator was sort of fuzzy and see-though (I'm not sure what the actual effect is called), so no one would actually think that the kid was actually being attacked (or the Power Sword could actually be used to ward off home invaders).

I had almost forgotten that Nick at Nite actually used to run shows from before I was born. Tonight's Nick at Nite lineup--Family Matters, Everyone Hates Chris (from 2008!) and a George Lopez marathon. Bleck.

  • what the hell is up at 3:46 haha was this during are you afraid of the dark or some shit haah

  • that fucking chips ahoy commercial is so 90's, it hurts

  • Ben Stein was born to play mono-tone teachers!

  • I love how the kids are partying their asses off in the Sprinkled Chips Ahoy commercial while the teacher (Ben Stein)'s back is turned. XDDD

  • omg at 0:51. the he man power sword! i completely forgot about that thing. i was obsessed with heman, and after watching the commercial again, im sure i bugged the shit outta my mom to get that thing. lol. crazy...these bring back some lost memories. thanks!

  • yeh, the Skeletor in that cartoon was dufey. He sounded like a clown, not nearly as scary as the real He-Man show. I used to want to see it, then i found the DVD set for $5...and regret spending that much on it.

  • Oh my god, Joey Lawrence was a hottie in that coca cola commercial. Damn I remember all these commercials. I miss those times.

  • Not quite the real '90s yet...

  • i was 13 1990. (sigh) best years of my life prolly. Getting old sucks ass i don't recommend it.

  • @mogul1265

What can u do? It's inevitable, unfortunately.

    :(

  • wow i rember looney tunes on nick

  • The voice of the Nick character sounds like the voice used for the DNA molecule in Jurassic Park. :D

  • @XieYali I don't think it's the same voice actor, but they're definitely similar.

    "From your BLOOD!"

  • @80sCommercialVault You're probably right, but the voice actor for Mr. DNA is Greg Burson. I didn't know he voiced so many iconic characters! :O

  • @XieYali acts like him too

  • @XieYali HAHA yes it does!!

  • @XieYali Dino-DNA!

  • *Sigh* The 90's were rad, dude!

  • Incredible "TRUE" story of the TMNT?

  • Man I'm glad I was able to grow up the the 90s. TV was the best in the 90s.

Even toys were better in the 90s

  • When I was a kid, I used to put my Barbie dolls in my brothers trucks and push them around my room.

  • Wow, I'd like to try cutting a cake with a chainsaw. :D

  • Memories. The quality is awesome!

  • I had a Slip and Slide. I think I might another one.

  • You mess around and get a few injuries on that slip and slide if you want! you gotta have a smooth and i mean smooth level ground to put that on or its Ouch City!
