Hi. It definately IS a petra song however that IS Robin singing. I would recognise his voice if he sang one note. Now you have heard a cover!! Yay. Peace.
Yes. You can still find them lurking on the interwebs. I wish I had the link that I found not too long ago. Just do a good search and you'll find a copy.
Is this band Christian or did they just remake an old Petra song? I love the stuff they have made with the female vocalist but I haven't been able to tell if they are for sure "Christian" or not.
This is the Christian Band Die Happy, not the other band with the gal singing. They had two albums (die happy & vol. 2). They broke up after recording this album. This song is off an in studio live series from Intense records. The lead singers name is Robin Basurri. He went on and was in another band called Red Sea which was just as good.
I've got both of their studio albums and their live EP on cassette. Of the two studio albums, I like Volume II better. Has kind of a "live" feel to it, plus Greg Chaisson plays a mean bass in that album.
Great cover!! This is one of my favorite Petra songs from back in the day.

what a voice !
he can sing like Ray Gillen, David Reece, Johnny Gioeli, Tony Martin, Jeff Scott Soto and other hard rockin' Gods of vocals
listen to 1994 Red Sea's Blood, it is unbelievable
2nd Die Happy cd is a good one too, except for the guitar parts that sound to me too bombastic otherwise perfect
1st Die Happy cd is good but too heavy in a way, Celebration should have been huge
nice Petra track, is got that 80's Black Sabbath feel
great hard rock blues feel in vain of mighty BADLANDS
