Whats fucked up about this outro scene is that Sam's daughter wasn't dead at all, it was a set up by Lambert to protect him from being blackmailed by a high up mole in the Third Echelon. It is so wierd to know that Sam's suffering is in vain.
@MrMacSpiffy Still if I knew I was gonna go on a suicidal bender, I'd atleast have some fun with it, fuck a few thugs up maybe knock off a liquor store.
They pretty much negated this whole game with Conviction, and that was kinda sad because even though this game had a ton of glitches for some versions, it was still a great game.
just one very important question, if i wanted to upload this cutscene from the Splinter Cell game, how do i do it, coz i'm trying to find out, so i can do it with a few other games??
@bibblytib well, in scda he thinks that just some random drunk driver killed her, but then in conviction he discovers that sarahs death was a part of a conspiracy with third echelon
think about it though, sam has nothing and nobody left. i dont mean he should just die i mean he should die saving the world. being killed trying to save the presidant or something
definitely the saddest part in the series. I hope not, but him dying in the end could be a good ending. I LOVE the splinter cells, I hope it ends well.
my favorite video game cinematic. the music is awesome, full of emotion. the thing introduces many key points of the series (including who killed Sarah. well, the question, which it was Third Echelon, u find out in Conviction XP) to have Fisher more on their side. (they think of him as a puppet)
It starts out with Fisher and some other less experienced Splinter Cell jumping from a plane into Iceland to deactivate a missile. The partner dies and Sam barely makes it out deactivating the missile, when he gets in this is where it starts off. It's the outro to the Iceland mission.
The entire soundtrack is for download by the artist (Behavior) if you want it for free. It's around two hours, if not more. I don't remember if I found the song there or not though.
Its amazing isn't it? Its on the video game soundtrack I think. I learned to play it on the piano by ear, I'd send you the sheet music, but I cant read music.
because he needed a way to get in the JBA and Jamie Washington was the only way to get in the JBA he needed to get in because he needed to know there plans the only reason he joined on this mission was because he had nothing to lose since his family died and he had nothing but his job left.
the original xbox version was better with this story because Lambert told Sam while the mission was going..but on the 360 it's like "Hey, your daughter's dead."
He's in a self destructive state of mind, I don't think it really matters who cracked him but rather that he was looking for the pain in his heart to match the pain in his body.
sam didnt get fired. lambert put him in a top secret mission which he hoped would help regain sam's focus. in that mission, he had to "go to prision" as part of his cover to infiltrate a terrorist group.
the music is kinda different is this version compared to ps2 version.. this is the best cut scene in this game.. damn he threw away that goggles.. wish i had those..
yes but this does happen like this in the wii version i have played xbox360 and wii version and this one is what happens in the game you get told halfway through the mission to come back, you say why, he says sam.... its your daughter and then this all sad music comes along and you gotta get out in x ammount of time then you run out on the ground and into the chopper.. wii version is very different
@sm91pa A little late to the party.... =P but I always assumed that it was because he was surprised to see Lambert sitting in the plane instead of at HQ talking to him via radio
no if you listend to lambert in the brief for the prison mission, he'll say that sam isnt there because hes a theif or murderer, but because they needed him there to gain the trust of the JBA.
Or because (360 version) the NSA wanted him to do one last mission for them... infiltrating the JBA... but they had to send him to prison for that to be friends with Jamie Washington..... anyway something like that i guess or the above ^
I know, but they had to come up with a backstory for being sent to prison in the first place and the reason probably was that he killed sarah's killer.
funny, sounds kinda weird, but me too just to get the feel of it/to experience what it has to be. Notice, I'm not talking about slippin my soap on the ground...
To be honest, I wouldn't mind to be a Splinter Cell (I know this is all a game but still.. XD) I think it's an honour to be one. Just too bad that Splinter Cell's officially don't excist and that they have to live with the memories of all the people they killed.
Killing Barnham, Jamie's own personal prison bully, okay thats only in the PS2 version of the game, which I don't have...Oh wait, Jamie was talking to barnham when Sam crawled into that hole he spent six months digging, thats when he started the riot ahaha :D
Jamie was quite a character. An excellent friend, but a sadistic tormentor to his enemies. Interesting that he was the only one who stood up to that muscle-head Moss...
And Emile's a madman(why else would he try to blow himself and his group up along with New York?)
Yeah, its too bad nextgenwalkthroughs couldn't do the bonus mission of the game, that would be sweet to see a pro kill moss on that boat "Tits up" hahaha
HAHAHA I remember sam grabbing Moss from behidn but then he somehow managed to get out of the hold and nearly turned the tables on sam until sam kneed moss in the shin or groin, I don't know and then snapped his neck, that made me happy :)
You know there is a completely different ending for the 360/PC version where he was in "too deep" with the terrorists and the government see's him as a threat now. Never the less he is on the run in both versions.
where did you seen that he kills her??if you don't blow the ship emile kills her not sam,and if you let the ship blow you meet with her in the last mission, she leaves and that's it...

you should play the new gen
pc/x360/ps3
and the old gen
ps2/xbox because they both have a different story its like to diff games
and makes the game more full after playing both
the old gen is more like chaos theory as where the new gen is more involved in day missions

they shouldn't really have used the entire same thing for the 360/PC version.
1. sam fisher was still in his wetsuit. the outfit he was in on the other version's closer to what he's wearing in this scene.
2. in the 360/PC version, sam wasn't informed anything about his daughter, or really anything that would make him say "what's going on, Lambert?"
sm91pa 3 years ago
I agree, butttttt:
1) Lambert did tell Fisher he needed to get out of there asap, that would explain the "whats going on lambert"
2) Sam evaced out of the top of a smoke stack by rope, this video shows sam stepping into the plane and it taking off from the ground.
