its andy lau..he doesnt EVER need to lipsync. Hes considered one of the best due to many reasons but one of them is his ability to sing without hearing his deep breathing so it doesnt disrupt the flow of the song.

It is a much relieve to see Andy wasn't one of the singers of the song "beijing welcomes you" and yes i too agree with you that the Olympics have been turned into a Chinese entertainment celebration. They are also public figures, so they're perfect for the job of creating commercials and songs for the Olympics. Besides, these cm's and songs are really great for rallying people together. I don't have anything with the 'Beijing welcomes you' song given I think it's a great song and some of my favourite singers seem to be quite content to join in (Fanfan and Valen Hsu) so I support them.

Though in terms of Olympic spirit, I think this song as well as the Paralympics truly embody the spirit of sports better then the more widely-exposed Olympics. The Paralympics are underrated.

Meh...a lot of singers lip synced before. But I'm not quite sure if he's really lip syncing it or not because it does sound kinda different from the original song.
