um well the video doesn't really have any effects on it that I can remember except the texture.. which isn't really an effect. and the text don't have any effects on them. that's just how they are from changing the settings.

you've to put up the quality before rendering (Render - Custom - Video -> Double NTSC - Save). Then it should work and the blank parts disappear.

oh and what did you use for the background effect? was it a picture?

Well I made a picture in Photoshop using grunge brushes then put it on a track over the whole video and make the track on overlay.

I made it in photoshop using some grungy brushes and then save it as a .png and put it in a track set to overlay on the whole video.
