I use the same flip cam and my Macbook pro with OS Snow leopard. It wont start Flip Share but the computer and the Flip Cam made a compromise. I can still open the videos, play them on Quick time and Imovie. Try this... open the flip video icon that comes up on the desktop or in some cases the devices list. After you open the icon go into the DCIM and in that folder should me another icon saying saying the number of videos. There in there and will run with quick time.
