I had a metroPCS phone for 6 years before I switch it to AT&T. Because I got a better deal from them ever since that go phone (non contract). Saves me alot of money and I got better receptions and signal. Even the AT&T youverse also comes in handy when it comes to my wireless house internet.
AT&T is now limiting EVERYONE's home Internet usage. They have a 150GB - 250GB cap depending on service. So forget about gaming and online videos such as Netflix or Hulu.
AT&T Home repair service SUCKS!!! Had three NO SHOWS this week (Louisville KY) without even a F'n call. Damn losers have no respect for a persons time.
AT$T stole my money. I had a credit in my account and they wiped it out of my account because I left them to Verizon. I will never again deal with AT$T. Consumer Reports even ignored the verizon version of the iphone4 because it had the same if not WORSE "antennagate" issues. but then agian, maybe its just a batch issue. ive had my iphone4 since it came out (at&t) and not once have i ever lost more than a bar when holding it, nor have i dropped a call.
Is AT&T's data service really so slow that you have to start searching for something before you end a 1 minute phone call? That was the impression I got. Maybe the worst AT&T commercial I have ever seen. Unrealistic and just plain stupid. Talking and browsing is useful and they picked the worse scenario to make a commercial out of. Please AT&T think a little harder to get the message across that you can browse the web and talk at the same time and get a better marketing/advertising department.
Actually you can talk and surf at the same time with the Verizon iPhone. There are a couple of methods. First, no surprise, over wifi when available. There is also 3rd party software that will use the 3G network & put the voice calls over that. (you know... 3G, as in the nearly solid VZ RED map as opposed to the nearly white ATT Blue map! lol) ...and when you throw in that the VZ device can be a hot spot, I think it's the blue phone that comes out wanting after all things are considered.
no amount of jail-breaking or wishing will ever change that sad sad fact that you can't talk and text, or talk and surf on the same time on VZW network. And all you VZW fanboys, what if he was out at the bar or in an area where there was no wifi????
The irony here is that in his situation, he almost certainly would've had WiFi, and easily could've used the Verizon iPhone for the exact same thing he did in that commercial.

I can't make or receive a phone call in this building with AT&T, but I can use the WiFi..... with a Verizon iPhone I would be in the same boat only I would be able to finally make calls.
I talk AND use the internet at the same time, almost every time I'm on a call.
For instance when I'm talking with my Mom, it's very useful to read news while she talks away. Or when my girlfriend decides she want's to talk for an hour or more. I do tons of other stuff on the internet while talking.

Consumer Reports even ignored the verizon version of the iphone4 because it had the same if not WORSE "antennagate" issues. but then agian, maybe its just a batch issue. ive had my iphone4 since it came out (at&t) and not once have i ever lost more than a bar when holding it, nor have i dropped a call.

Is AT&T's data service really so slow that you have to start searching for something before you end a 1 minute phone call? That was the impression I got. Maybe the worst AT&T commercial I have ever seen. Unrealistic and just plain stupid. Talking and browsing is useful and they picked the worse scenario to make a commercial out of. Please AT&T think a little harder to get the message across that you can browse the web and talk at the same time and get a better marketing/advertising department.

Actually you can talk and surf at the same time with the Verizon iPhone. There are a couple of methods. First, no surprise, over wifi when available. There is also 3rd party software that will use the 3G network & put the voice calls over that. (you know... 3G, as in the nearly solid VZ RED map as opposed to the nearly white ATT Blue map! lol) ...and when you throw in that the VZ device can be a hot spot, I think it's the blue phone that comes out wanting after all things are considered.

For instance when I'm talking with my Mom, it's very useful to read news while she talks away. Or when my girlfriend decides she want's to talk for an hour or more. I do tons of other stuff on the internet while talking.
