Dunc, I still can't get over the sound quality of this one, so clear, and awesome playing too. I'm thinking of getting an FP10 too. Can you tell me in details exactly how your hook up is. Do u use the Presonus Compressor and EQ on top of the FP10?

@tnngng hey tuan. tbh i don't think you wil get much of a quality increase by upgrading to the FP10. I record in 24/96 but when I edit, I go back down to 44Khz anyways. but yeah basically presonus hooks up to computer via firewire and that's it. and yes I EQ on top of FP10. But I don't know what the Presonus Compressor is to be honest

Great Remix Dunc. Did you tune ur Snare to make it sound like that on purpose? I actually like how it's accentuated that way in this vid

@tnngng thanks tuan. snare probably sounds a bit less poppy in real life. less overtones. when mic'd up, it always captures the higher tones - so i have remo o-rings to reduce this for recording. also in cubase, i've got a pre-set rock snare EQ along with some gating to help with hi-hat cymbal bleed. but it doesn't sound too far off it tbh.
