I don't usually go for plain backgrounds, but it works perfectly here, keeping my eye on all the color and splashed BOOM on her face. Great stuff, nice shot! Wish you posted more, but I am guessing this was a "one shot" thing? Great makeup work!

Yep, we were doing this specifically to get one look. As an afterthought we turned on the video camera. We thought someone might want to see the lighting setup and try it out.

Is that usually a mag cover type of setup [one shot only], or was that just what you had in mind? I have never heard of someone doing a whole setup with all the goods for just one shot. If I had more money to throw at my shoots I would probably try something like this [or if I was a chick, I could put the makeup on my own face]. Nice job, I like the colors, not too "goddy/messy" like alot of the other stuff I see.
