  • 8:56 this is me! JAJAAJJAJAJAAJAJA DICK LMAO

  • Will it work with no battery in the body, but with the loaded battery grip only?

  • Comment removed

  • I hate seeing little kids doing reviews of their daddys stuff , all i can say is hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhhahahaha

    looser

    buy your own

    cock stain

  • @harrysykes123 That coming from a lifeless old hag like you. Hah.

  • @TheVisualised Im 18 retard

  • Nice work, bfob. Ignore the rude idiots. Keep up the good work. I have a D700 and was looking for info on the MB-D10 grip and stumbled on your video. I wish I started out as young as you have :)

  • good job man:)))

  • uhhhhm.. uhhhhhhhhhhm.. uhhhhm.. hey bitch .. stop your uhhhm.. go to school and learn to speak uhhhhhm think thats all ! uhmmmmm not to forget that ur a faggtard !!!1

  • then get a canon eos 7d

  • WOW 25K in 5 Weeks your finger is on fire !! i get 200 shots in 2 months

  • how does it get disgusting? it must be you cuz my cameras orginal nikon strap isnt

  • for RAW shooters? you mean there are d300s owners out there that shoot JPEG? ........ ...... ... .. .... bwahahahaha!!!

  • good review. I used to shoot with a D300 and I loved it. I'm a 5D2 user now but I still remember the excitement I got out of this camera. Do you have a flickr acount you can share with us? This is just me and a suggestion to starters but I would stay with cards below 8gigs. I've had problems with my sandisk 4~8 gig CF cards couple of times and it would really sucks to lose all your photos on a big card. Keeping them in separate cards will reduce the risk:)

  • Wow, lot of bad comments on here.

I was your age about 30+ years ago. No Internet, no DVDs, computers etc (yes, get the violins out). I wanted to be a Photographer and gave up after a couple of years.

If you love Photography, all I can advise is don't ever give it up. Find the Photographer in you !!

And keep posting videos, learning about Photography and learning about yourself. You will make mistakes (like in this Video). The mature people on here will not mind that at all.

    Good luck !

  • And your (sic) even more stupid, and rude.

  • YOU make the photos, not your camera... remember it..

  • there is no diffrence d40, d300s, d3, it will look more professional, have milions features that u don't need really beleve me. ofcourse nikon d700 is "way" better than d40 but when u can't photo, there is no diffrence.

More expensive camera give u better speed, sometimes metal body, but, i hav my plastic d80 about 3years and it's still looks good . In normal "use" things/magnesium body, speed 10fps, iso 1280, or even 10mpx.. are useless..

  • profession sports photographers don't need 11fps from the d3? what are u retarded?

  • damn! i have to start with a used Nikon D200 and i am 30+ y.o.....lucky kid!

  • dont think a 12 yr old should have anything of the sort!!!! daddys camera!! lolololo

  • wow , u seem like a rich guy , i have to wait 10 years to get all of that ...ha ha ha ha nice video.

  • Hell, I had my first D300 when I was 12, switched to Canon, switched back, and I have a Gripped D300 with Eneloops and a 70-200 f/2.8 VR

  • the plastic cover is there to get scratched alot!!!lol!!!

  • Is that a Nikon 16 85 VR that mount on your D300?

  • how many photos can u take at 8 fps in one sequence?

  • D300s got release few weeks ago, what you think of it ?

  • Personally I think the D300s is a waste of money. If you are going to get a new camera get a D90 or D40 if you ALREADY have a D300. The only reason people think the D300s is so special is it's Video mode. JUST GET AN HD CAMERA! Megapixels are TOO overrated.

  • Yes maybe a waste? there both the same D300 and D300s, just a tad little difference... but i'll rarther get a D300s than a D300, i know the D90 is good... but want something a bit more professional... D700 perhaps? lol i would really want the D3x.... but damn... who can afford that ? lol

  • My reply is to long for comments....

  • Then reply twice? lol ....

  • @RoundTheBendFilms Agreed!

  • Yeah, see @xMandalorex if you ARE a pro then get D700. But in almost anyone's case, the smaller is the best because it's weight can't limit your creative ability. The D700 is a great camera but I hate lugging around the D300... When I get my next body it'll either be a Leica X1 or a Nikon D3000 and a 24mm ƒ/2.8D Lens.

  • dude, forget the D3000. It's a real slow camera,

  • Why the hell would I care? All you pixel peepers always care about speed, agility and all this crap that you don't even understand. I want a tiny, and small DSLR that I can take everywhere. I don't give a damn about 24 MP or image stabilization. That stuff only hinders a photographers ability. Leica's have always been slow and they churn out the worlds best photographs.

  • pixel peeper? i don't give a crap about pixels. i'm working on composition, using a fuji quicksnap when i'm out and about. I'm just saying, it would be great to have a camera that works fast enough for you to be able to shoot the moment you see something worth shooting.

  • Well, sorry I get defensive. But it's a DSLR, it's faster than ANY P&S and faster than a rangefinder. I was looking at the Leica X1 but I don't know if it's for me.

  • haha. The X1 is a brilliant piece, albeit at a rather high price. An older D40/D60 is much cheaper and i think would suffice.

  • lol arrrg. I was really looking at a D40 but it's super hard to find! I love how there's nothing to get in your way with that camera. If I find one then I'd get it. But the X1 is just always sitting on the "devil" side of my shoulder! (get it?) haha

  • haha. the only problem i see with the X1 is it costing $2000. I think the D40 is still available on amazon. or you could scour ebay. haha.

  • Que lindo ver al niño con juguete nuevo... :S

  • Believe me when I say that sportshooter do need the 9 or 11 FPS.

  • rich parents?

  • I'm considering to buy either the D300 or D300s... will it be better off to buy the 300s than the D300.. thanks

  • Do you need video?

  • Yes, I prefer to be with a video.

  • Yes, then get a D300s.

  • Depends what your shooting. personaly i'd choose the d300 and spend the extra money on a lens or something. The d300s Has faster FPS without a baterygrip. And also the d300s can record videos. I'm not sure if the iso prestanda is better on the d300s . But i guess its slightly better...The most valuble feature on the d330s i think, is that it has a mode for quiet shutter so that it wont sound as much. So if you're photographing lots of wildlife than this is a great feature.

  • Where did you buy your camera from

  • he didnt, his mummy bought it for him :)

  • do u figure out how may times u say "ham"..."he"..."mmm"...??? shit, think before open ur mouth...great cam

  • Spoiled kid. :))))))))

  • Ditch the slow CF Transcend and get yourself a Lexar 300x UDMA, 8gb would be more than enough :)

Nice job on getting involved in the hobby/business at such a young age kid. Looking forward to seeing you with the 700X that's coming out soon ;)

  • ISO 1600 with an SB-800 in a room?!?!? Oh god, why?!

  • the only reason that i found is shooting smoke...

you need thigh aperture and fast speed....

    but im and amateur...

the other possible reason is that this kid dont know what is he talking about

  • haha and iso 2000 with a 1.8 lens thats a knee slapper you must be shooting in pitch darkness

  • Yep

  • Comment removed

  • nice camera but to expensive

  • Great vid, thanks for uploading! By the way, i am going to buy the MB D10 this week, but I have read that there was a "sudden power failure! issue while using this accessory. Did you ever have false low battery indication?

  • So, the mb-d10 holds one battery only, right? So does the other en-el3a battery just stay in the normal battery compartment? thanks for the review.

  • I had a D80 with a battery grip and could not stand the extra bulk. I will never buy one for my D700 or D300 I have now.

  • good video, and i dot mean to tell you that you're wrong, because a lot of people dont need to shoot that fast, but i know pros that use that 8fps all day long, some are sports photographers, that of course need to shoot frames, but some are shooting amimals, trying to get that "right" shot.

  • Nice job - you sound like you know what you're talking about I'm impressed lm a professional photographer keep up the good work.

  • Holy shit. I don't know whats worse the white balance in the video (sorry bro it makes you look orange), or the adults (you must be adults - why else reference the "kids") bickering with a pre-teen on Youtube. That's some sad shit here.

  • My Video camera does not have white balance control...

  • Nice vid! =) I kinda envy you)) Same hobby, but no chance of bying an expensive camera =( Now saving up for 60D) You're lucky man,get the most out of it!

  • it's obvious that he didn't buy that camera, mommy and daddy bought it for him.

  • how old are you

  • Going on 15

  • Do you recommend NX2 or Lr2 if I edit Nikon RAWs and want to play more tricks (ie. image merge, digital distortion)? Or, both of them cannot do such thing that I have to go to PsCS?

  • But regardless man, it's great that you have that camera. Learn to use it well, photography is a great hobby and you are fortunate you can afford those at such a young age.

  • How old are U??

  • It amazes me when I see little kids with such equipment, he's not even that bad. I saw a 10 year old with a $8000 D3X on youtube...i was seriously just like wth? What possible use can these kids have for such cameras?? I have a D300 and I shoot for organizations at my university, and I feel as if it's too much camera even for my needs. Now what possible use can it have for 12 year olds?? I guess they really must have extra money laying around.

  • The d300 is a perfect camera for People who just start out.

  • when I was 13 I had a cheap 35mm and could give a shit about Iso and Fps or fancy lenses.. your a kid you should be doing kid things..

  • " An SB-800, this thing compliments the D300 if you're shooting high ISO"

  • It helps, when you are outside, your background won't be severely underexposed. And I was talking about night shots at say a wedding.

  • It sounds like you have no Idea what your talking about

  • hey thanks so much...ive been looking for good reviews of the d300 and yours is the only good one ive found yet...not to mention you also talk about the battery grip...thanks a bunch

  • Well dude, i think you are doing really well. There are alot of green-eyed monsters out there. You keep it up!

    Phil

    PDX Photography

  • Thank you...

  • GIMME THAT CF CARD!

  • That's some serious hardware for a young kid like you. Keep it up! I wish I had things figured out when I was your age. Photography was allways a hobby, but now its a career. I have been doin it professionally for about four years, and im still learning. I had to put up with a lot of crap from more experienced and educated photographers. But I dont care. People that are quick to criticize are very insecure and self serving. By the way, I have a d 300, and I love it! Keep shooting!!

  • well done young man, thanks for the info.

  • Don't listen to all these jerks. You're very lucky to have been able to afford this amazing camera. I'm working to get one as of now. Keep up the great work.

  • nothing wrong with what you have there and what you're doing. go with your passion. don't stress out what other people say. keep it up!

  • alright well i still highly doubt you raised over 3gs on all your equipment being that your 13 years old..being that your pretty mediocre at photo..and even if you did make that money youd have to be doing it since you were like 7 to raise all that

  • The H3D is not my equipment..

  • nd your ugly

  • and i guarantee that you dont know any pro photographers because they deffinatly would have tought you better than this..

  • and to top the review is crap " i got this other camera neckstrap one, it pretty cool" my nikon neckstrap is still mint. and you have no clue what your talking about at all. "there is also 14 bit RAW, for RAW shooter." good job man. obviously people who use RAW are RAW shooters. you are soo clueless on what your talking about. "the flash is really bright" wtf is that..of course it is. why do you have the 16mm fish, do you realize that its made for FX sensors and not DX crop. get the 10.5

  • learn about how to compose a photo, not just take a random picture of ur dad or brother snuggling with marshmallows or holding pop-corn on vacation

  • Those are just my personal photos that I shoot. I've shot weddings, cheer events, and even World Championships of Preforming arts. I can compose a photo. I also did start with 35mm and I can't afford to shoot a wedding like that. Get a life and stop spamming, me. At least I go out and take more pictures in the time that you waste spamming me.

  • ..not really your 13 and its like 9 o clock where you are you should be sleeping so you could get up early for extra chess prep for the BIG MEET!

and sorry i dont get my parents to shell out over 3gs for my photo equipment..mind you if i had you setup i wouldnt take as many as you but i would take a lot of photos..over 1000 photos on JUST july 4th? what are you stupid your cameras gunna be used up in like 4 months

  • Actually, I bought all of my equipment. And it was by taking photos, people like lots of photos, especially of people!

  • ur the worst photographer ive ever seen, i just looked thru ur flickr and all u have is 3000 shots of random P&S bull. you dont deserve the setup you have. go get a 35mm and start from there. dont have ur parents buy you a 1700 camera if you cant use it.

  • "way faster than anybody needs to shoot"

Nice job being ignorant buddy. You must not know much about photog if you think that 8fps is too fast..

  • kid are you dumb?

a lot of people use 8 fps...skate photography is heavily based upon sequences..also snowboarding, biking and other sports..you deserve a d40

  • You idiot, it's about timing not about speed. I shoot cheer photos for some of the main west coast companies (Jamz, USA, GSSA). It's all about timing and exposure, but, if you want to believe that you just need to shoot at JPEG Small at 8 fps and get some crap photos, be my guest. I shoot at 3fps for any sports and they look great.

  • you cant shoot 3fps for many sports liek skateboarding. no way to catch all the action

  • bfob is right, if Photography was that easy, then wait until they develop a 25fps camera and just fire away. There's bound to be a good image in there somewhere......

  • Well put together review! I wish I had such equipment at your age! Enjoy it!

I've just bought a D300 and was browsing for reviews

  • rich kid..

  • How old are U??

  • You should use better lens on it!!! Much better actually. Otherwise you're not having all the detail that camera can give you.

Believe me, you will notice the difference.

    Some sugestions:

    Sigma EX 18-50 f2.8

    Sigma EX 24-70 (amazing lens)

    Tamron 17-50 f2.8

    Tamron 28-75 f2.8

  • Yes, I fully understand that, that is why I am now investing in lenses and I use my fathers lenses. I just bought the Sigma 30mm f/1.4 and LOVE IT!

  • Very good choice. A shame that lens is not full frame :(

  • Ya, I figured though, that I would just get the 50mm f/1.4 AF-S if I get a Full-Frame Camera, I don't expect to until a few years. So I figured that the 30mm was a better option than the 50mm

  • you are lucky to have all this equipment at your age. hope your doing well!

  • How do you like the 18-70 lens ?

  • It's alright, but overpriced.

  • rich boy spoiled brat faggot

  • I just got a D300 it has no Auto-ISO setting? But I see it has Auto-WB. The shuter also acts very very very slow. I hit the triger on the D300 and it has a 2sec delay.

  • There is in fact an Auto-ISO setting, a-bit hard to find I may admit. And as for the 2 Sec delay, you may want to have Nikon check out your camera, that is not normal.

  • Thanks buddy- that was a superb contribution. Your presentation was natural, well-informed and spot-on! Photography is a wonderful hobby.

  • Thank you, It's always nice to hear supporters of my videos :)
