Well niselat, we're just old school that way...! Actually if we did bury them, they would be kinda hard to get to during winter, as the ground is frozen solid... Nome is just behind the times, but that's part of it's charm...
@niselat Where the ground does not freeze several feet down, I can see buried lines. Are your buried lines easily to get to even when there are several feet of permafrost.? I don't know since I do not live in a very cold climate.
