History of Sylvanas and the Scourge

the necklace belongs to sylvanas's sister alleria. u find the necklace in the ghostlands and u get a quest that tells u to bring it back to sylvanas. and when u get there and turn the quest in sylvanas will raise 4 ghost people and will sing the lament of highborne. its a beutiful song and makes me think of all the events sylvanas has been through. blizz has the greatest lore in the world and wow is the best game ever!

one thing and i never understood this but sylvanas used to be a blood elf right?

And if that is true why does she look like a friggin night elf now? I mean i know she is Undead and she looks dead but unless you did the wrath gate quest (which is like 4 hours long i think) she will always look like a night elf

Nope, she was a high elf. Arthas killed her and ressurected her as a banshee, but she repossessed her body when she broke free from Arthas' will.

The reason she looks like a NE is because this cutscene predates patch 3.0.2, before she got a blood elf model.

lol u got the whole story messed up.

Arthas killed Sylvannas and because she had given him such a hard time before her death, he transformed her to live the rest of her undead life a bitter and vengful banshee. And that cut scene your talking about was not sylvannas

Putress and Varthimas turned out to be traitors and attacked the wrath gate on there OWN accord. They then try to take over Undercity but (As the hero) you stop them and Sylvannas continues her reign
