I'm a Cardiff City fan so this might sound a bit biased.
Why have they only got one tier behind each of the goals. If they kept it two tiers all the way round it would be roughly 35,000. Are they stupid or what?
Good video, great animation. The stadium looks good from a design perspective, but I don't think it's a great design for a football stadium. Overall good thought, but I wouldn't like to go and watch a match there...
As long as they sort the East End out and make it a PROPER home end with a low slanting roof etc i will be happy.
Overall as a city fan i know what certain fans are like and they DONT like change. Give it a few years and they will all be won over. At the end of the day we all go to support Bristol City and not the stadium.
I dont think this is bad atall...i remember seeing an artist impression of the atyeo in a city program when i was a kid...(city v portsmouth) thought it looked shit...and what do you know...it was!!! This is on a different scale tho... the ends behind the goal will be holding around 8,000 each with further expansion planned! All city fans be positive and get behind this project now... good times!!!!!! BCFC!
i seen the new design for the stand behind the goal which will be new eastend, looks very nice now.
cant wait for new stadium ^^. im sure it will look much better in real. maybe when its extended to 40,000 the stands behind the goal will become larger.
the two stands behind the goals look disgusting, they just join around the whole stadium, no style in this design. the top tier of the side stand is very small/flat. it reminds me of a video recorder machine lmao. the two end stands need to stand out abit more imo. cmon city lets get it right! lets not have regrets.
im a palace fan and i hate the fact that i go to away games every year and it seems im going to the same stadium but with just different colour seats. at least they never followed the footsteps of southhamton, cov, lesta, cardiff, doncasta, middlesbrough, reading, swansea and darlington and so on boring designs! i recon this shows a bit of character and will look like no other in the football league. i wish palace wud hav this
On 1 of the stands which has two tiers , have you seen the top tier? It's tiny and so are the stands behind the goal...hopefully they scrap these plans....

The 22 people that have voted against this stadium had better watch their back. True bristolians will make their lives a misery.

it would be better to just keep the atyeo stand at the end, atleast it looks nice, unique.

where is our new home end behind the goal? no atyeo or eastend upgrade just a bus shelter of a stand.
bootleg999 2 years ago 2
A huge section of this design is a uniform single tier design with dull continuous rows of seats without corners. A flat pack souless bowl.
With no proper home end and being very open its going to have an atmosphere like the Walkers stadium or the Moon.
