@JayDolce It's blatantly stating something to point out the ridiculousness of that idea... like in the instance of "Being lazy is hard work." Of course being lazy isn't hard work, it's very easy, but the statement that it is hard work causes a bit of a laugh at the notion. The best cases of this are when there are people who actually think similar to that idea and by stating it in that way they see how ridiculous it sounds.
