Vince Russo did not kill WCW. WCW was already dying when he took over in the fall of 1999. Lets see, WWF had the likes of The Rock and Stone Cold and WCW had Sid Vicious and Kevin Nash. Now there's nothing wrong with Sid Vicious or Kevin Nash but they were going head to head against WWF's hottest stars at the time. When I look back WCW was stale in 1999. Russo threw everything he could at trying to get WCW back to it's glory days. Unfortunately there was no Vince McMahon to control him.
