My 3G has exactly problem. I bought the new sim reader online for 5 dollars. The the repair store charge me $50 for the repairing. I want to do it but I don't gave soildering or desoildering tools. Do you have any suggestion for me to get a cheap repair around 30 dollars.

Do you know if a blob of solder could work as a replacement for a broken pin rather than replacing the whole sim connector?thanks
BTW my phone is a Meizu M8, i dont know if this changes things
