My highschool is doing Get Smart for their spring play, and I was cast as 99. The director wants me to sing this, and after hearing Barbara sing it, I'm pretty sure I have no chance. Her voice is almost as beautiful as she is.

The song was released in 1966. It would probably have been recorded right after season one, although it may not have been released until the second season had started. Basically it'd have to be sometime between the end of season one and the first half of season two. :)

I searched high and low in my collection of clips to find the clip of her biting his hand for that line. I simply couldn't find it, so I used one from the same episode in hopes that people would make the connection (as you did). I've since found another disc of more clips, so it's probably on there. I'm actually tempted to remake this with the proper clip in place... but I'm too lazy. XD

Barbara Feldon was a complete doll! I had such a crush on her when I was growing up- I guess I still do. I saw her on The Morning Show recently and she's still a babe! Her voice is possibly the sexiest I've ever heard! Thanx for posting it, I like the clips you chose to go along with this great song!

Say...with the episode clips you show of Barbara Feldon in white shirt and at the part of the song where she says, "Wore my favorite slacks"...Is that the same episode where there's two 99s and one of them works for KAOS? Where the KAOS twin tries to poison Max with homecooking?

lolol...I'm probably off aren't I? I was just curious because I had been reading the episode guide to "Get Smart".

It's from "To Sire, with Love part 2". Instead of two 99s, there are two Maxs (well kind of). There's Max and there's King Charles who are identical. 99 keeps mixing them up (and kissing the wrong one) which makes Max very jealous. He decides to test her by pretending to be Charles and hitting on her. At first she resists him, but then she figures out that it's really Max, so she decides to teach him a lesson and pretends to be interested in "Charles". It's funny, and they make up nicely.

Now I really wish I could see the whole episode. I know November 4th will get here soon enough but it's so hard to look at the calendar and not want the day to be here now...lolol...
