you guys installed it way wrong (see stickers on side of seat or manual or go to evenflo's online site and they have an install video.

all you guys did was hook the top tether to the seatbelt.

Also, while it's great he still fits the harness for height, I'm guessing he's over 40lbs.

the seat you showed also works as a booster.

And he clearly needs a booster (boosters are outgrown when the child is 4'9".

All you would do is remove all the straps and use it to boost him up in the seatbelt.

thank you for your imput. we are aware that he is too big for the carseat, but that was used for humor.
