"The March of Time" was based on the famous radio show of the same name (1931-'45), which dramatized the week's news events, tied together by Westbrook Van Voohris' narration {his famous closing line: "Time marches on!"}. The newsreel editon, issued theatrically on a monthly basis from 1935 through 1951, devoted itself to a single subject in every "issue". The stock music cue used in the montage sounds similar to "Sing Sing Sing", made famous by Benny Goodman's orchestra in 1937.

Sing; sing, sing it´s a song from Louis Prima, but Gene Krupa and Benny Goodman do it final versión to all people heard and remenber.
