@truitons I actually hate Oblivion gates. They are the worst thing about the whole game. Every one is gameplay with zero content for me. Almost as bad as randomly generated content. No life at all. The only ones worth playing are the ones that have people inside to talk to, rescue or help. The rest of them just feel like me having to hold my breath for 20 minutes so I can shut it down and continue on with the game.

The way I close the gate in Ps3 is very simple, I just Ignore the enemies and run until I reach the 'Ball' in the main tower. Once I pick it up the gate is closed, all the enemies are dead.

with a bit of practice, you can jump from the entrance up to the walkway between towers, and close a gate in about 30 seconds lol.
