  • Paul, it came out with 490 results, could you please do a search on my name "Felipe Bonventi" I belive I'm the only one out there. Thank you!!!

  • @bonventi Just did it and sent a massage.

  • Paul, are you on facebook?

  • @bonventi Yes I am. Search for Paul Short in Newfoundland and you will find me.

  • where did you get the engine

  • @54DUNLOP It's the original engine that came with the bike.

  • @7863348

oh i see. do you have any idea where someone could them?

  • @54DUNLOP Ebay will have them. also try some of your local motorcycle recyclers or even advertise on Cregs list. I'm sure there not that hard to find.

  • @54DUNLOP its a 50cc honda engine found in the XR, CT70 and 90, and CRF50. :) its the same badic design and stuff i believe.

  • What a wonderful job you did with that bike! I had one when I was younger that was a hand me down in terrible shape, but I loved it... I always wanted to restore one like that just to have. Well done!

  • @ekko919 Thanks. OH yes the memories. I was in the same situation as you and just had to have another one to look at. After this video was done I drained the fuel and put in in amongst my collection. Folks who see it think it's new so that's good :) Some of the best days of my life was riding a Honda. If you ride, ride safe and never forget our good times on a CT70! Thanks for your comments.

  • @7863348 How long did the whole restoration take?

  • @ekko919 Working on it in the evenings and weekends it took around 6 weeks. It was all done in my shop. I did the strip down, body work, polishing, mechanical and assembly. The paint is base clear and flawless. The bike looks as if it was sitting In the showroom new back in 1972.

  • @7863348 I am very impressed with the finished product... I would love a few hi-rez photo's if you have the time to take them

  • @ekko919 This place won't let me put a direct link to another site BUT if you put in this address and replace the dots with the real dots you'll get to see all my work in high resolution including my custom stuff or Google hondadudecanada and you'll find me :) Good luck flickrdotcom/photos/15602393@N05/sets/

  • @ekko919 I just tried the link. The best way to see the photo's on my flickr photo site is to search for hondadudecanada and then look for "sets" and you should find me. There's a lot of images there.

  • Very nice honda, got one myself :)

    Very nice restored mate!

    Greetings

  • @hummerrule Thank you very much. They sure are nice little bikes. Thanks for your comments. Ride safe!

  • Hey you even know where the dot on the tire goes...

  • Thanks. Ya there allot of fellows who don't know about the dot :) I'm restoring a 1969 Z50 A-K1 now. I'll post a vid on that in a few weeks. Thanks guys.

  • It's a thing of beauty... Well done! Thanks for sharing.
