People that say the Cruze is cheap, and "slipping transmissions after 8,000 miles" either
A. beat the living shit out of it, or
B. Don't actually own this car
I will say it lacks the power that my Cobalt has, but the interior makes up for it, it is a wonderful car. The only problem I have is not being able to hear the engine to know when to shift, but you can look at the tachometer, and there's a shift light for that.
Right now I am 15 in about a year when I get my license this is going to be my first car! I've been saving since I turned 14! This car has a beautiful interior with amazing feature one of my favorite is the remote car app for the iPhone!
@311fran311 yes it does. it is a standard feature, it comes in any model of the cruze. you can also plug in other MP3 devices and even thumbdrives(USB)
@mehiael that is not true... this car is american designed, it was designed by (GM with corvette), engineered by opel in germany and assembled in Korea.
@JMMossey actuly yes see since GM owns Cadillac and chevy that put some of Cadillacs stuff in the cruze like the dash and the suspension and the computer system
I test drove a Cruze yesterday and didn't find it to be that big of a deal. The steering wheel on that cross part looked to be painted plastic and when I stepped on it a bit it's like there wasn't much there at all. I wouldn't rule out getting one but after doing lots of research on it I thought it would be more than what it was. It could be the my expectations were just way too high. It happens.
how do you set the cruise control? I'll push the botton in, and it says it's on..but it doesn't actually catch it. does it have anything to do with having the traction control on?

Really like the dash layout. Very similar to that of the Cadillac CTS. Was Chevrolet trying to reproduce that look of the dashboard in the Cruze?
