  • Sweet! can u do it in HD?

  • I just love alll things New Edition. Doesnt matter what it is

  • Simply increditble are these guys. Thank you for all you've put into your music and your concerts. The Heartbreak Tour was number one in my book. Much love for your lifetime achievement. MUAH!!!!!!!

  • This is fantastic! Thanks for posting!

  • Ralph Tresvant is a smooth motherfucker

  • THIS IS GOLD!!!

  • @DanielListerUK can you put just the live performance on BET up here please

  • what id like to find is a complete clip of the bet 25 anniversary with bobby's solo clip at the end.The singing and the dancing was great but Ricky Minor and those dudes (the band)PLAYED those tunes.

  • @74choppzilla ...Yeah Bobby joins them on Mr. Telephone Man and then the NEditions leave except Ronnie and Ralph. Mike says to Bobby, you got this, and Bobby sd yeah and they hug. Bobby sings it my prerogative. He bought down the show, the women were screaming like crazy for Bobby....

  • You did such a great job with this video

  • wount it be awesome if these guys went on tour with the jackson 5 lmao get that lead nigga singing mjs part

  • i wouldnt give ronnie up 4 nothin

  • Okay, I told you about how I was dragged from the stage in my mini skirt in the 80s at an NE concert in Cleveland, now let me tell you another great story. I wrote a letter to the editor of Ebony Man Magazine or (EM magazine) in 1990 regarding their cover story on Bobby Brown and his rise to the top of the charts. My letter told how I thought his life story was a success story for kids growing up in urban neighborhoods. My letter was printed in the following issue. Yay! Now look at Bobby. lol

  • i love new edition

  • Does anyone know where I can find the whole performance including Bobby Brown part????

  • They got down !!!

  • Did they make a mistake? It seemed like Bobby wanted to keep singing the chorus to Mr. Telephone Man, but they ready to sing the sing. Look at 7:08.

  • the look on some of the artist face in the audience is priceless "Damn, you mean we have to stop lip syncing when we are on stage?"

  • New Edition is timeless and they still sound good today, however most of the R&B out now will be forgotten like dinosaurs!

  • @SwaggerLikeUz ginuwine has good R&B real music out today. Maxwell, Keith Sweat also has releases of good music. Check em out, brotha!!!

  • N.E. Forever! They really don't get the props they so deserve. Shame.

  • wow, what a disapointment ralph turned into,,,,,WOW

  • Ralph and Michael jackson sounded the same as kids and adults.

  • NE 4 LFE

  • Here Here.

  • In Cleveland OH in the 80s, me and my girls didn't miss a concert. We even joined the fan club. My most memorable moment was when, at the Front Row Theatre, I had to be dragged from the stage, kicking and screaming, with a mini skirt on, just tearing my stockings up! LOL My lil sister once fought over Bobby's stinky, sweaty, towel and she got it. LOL Priceless!

  • @SisSuzy omg LOL thats a awesome story!! :)

  • This was really enjoyable!

  • yes talented all the way

  • i hope NE can get away from badboy p diddy is known for making awasome groups and singers fall off the map ,love new edition been a fan since the home again album

  • One of the things that Ive noticed about groups of 5+ that seem to have One or 2 members that seem to outshine the others,i.e.Ralph and Bobby, the tendency is that when they go solo the rest of the members seem to fall into obscurity. This is *NOT*the case here. When Ralph went solo and Bobby Went Solo, and Johnny Gill went solo you would think that it was over, but *NO*

Bel Biv Devoe came out strong as a trio and came out with some hit songs "Poison"This proves to me that *ALL*of them Had talent!

  • @Mahlercougar you are right very talented individuals great observation on your part

  • what year was this?

  • @sagat4 I made it in 2008! The footage is from the reunion performance in 1990 and the BET 25th show which was 2005.

  • @DanielListerUK That was the first time that I heard Ralph sing Sensitivity at the MTV Music Awards on September 6, 1990. Little did I know that it would go to No. 1 around the same time that his solo album was coming out. I wanted it to come out that day, but I waited until November.

  • Ok I am tearing up!! NE has been my favorite since I was like 10 and I'm 39 now!!! #1 fan for life!!!

  • @browngirl71

It tell what would be the ultimite concert, having both New Edition & The Temptations perform together.

  • The bottom line is this. NE got a lot of repairing to do. Fans wan't to see the group perform again. They need to get it together. Now when NE launches out on this expected tour, I hope they do it right. IF Bobby cannot dance and keep up, please leave Bobby at home. I want to see the group do all the dance moves. Bobby can't sit on a stool while everybody else is dancing. NE please handle the business, get the album out, do your nation wide tour. We have been waiting too long.

  • Awesome! One of the greatest groups of all time!

  • i love new edition!!!! xD hi veiwmychannelplease:) andyoucansee mr telephone man by new edition

  • i love new edition!!!! xD

  • the candy song with ll cool j is on ll's phenomenom album

  • what's the song at 3:00 ? the solo performance before poison

has candy girl ever been rerecorded?

oh and great medley you made here :))

  • @TimeBreaker1987 The song around 3:00 is "Rub You The Right Way" by Johnny Gill. I don't know if they ever re-recorded Candy Girl!

  • @DanielListerUK Oh you're right, thanks! Well I'm almost sure that I've heard it once on the site of new edition, maybe I'll find it again, thanks again!

  • @DanielListerUK Candy Girl was their first release in the 80s.

  • @DanielListerUK oh I found out what I heard once: LL Cool J's song called Candy!

It features a ralph and ricky in the song, singing parts of their old song candy girl and I've heard it on the neweditionfanclub website. a more chilled version, but for sure an interesting cameo

  • @TimeBreaker1987 rub you the right way

  • @TimeBreaker1987 Candy Girl was there first release in the 80s

  • @TimeBreaker1987 yes candy girl have

  • @TimeBreaker1987 Yes, the official video is up here!

  • does anyone know why its so hard to find LL cool j candy ft, ralph and ricky. i alwasy like that version but its nowhere on youtube, and i couldve sworn they did a video for it. not sure but i know it was a single.

  • Awesome... thanks

  • pretty good! nice video!

  • Awesome, awesome awesome!!! Damn, this is tight right here!!! One of the best, if not *THE* best R&B groups of all time! Thank you for puttin' this Mega-Medley up for all of the New Edition fans to hear and see! You did a fantastic job wit' the mixin' and editin'! My hats off to you, and again I must say... awesome, awesome, AWESOME!!!

  • @erock808 Thank you for the kind comment!

  • @DanielListerUK do u have the bobby brown tribute from bet2005??

  • that's wat i'm talking bout

  • I loved it!!

  • Do you have the segment where bobby performs solo of my Perogative?

  • This is really good! Thanks for the awesome post!

  • whats the song at 0:40

  • that's NE Heartbreak yo

  • It's part of NE Heart Break, the 12" Faux Live Version from the vinyl single.

  • LOL@ not knowing poison...damn dude.

  • I wanna see the video where they sing the temptations.

  • now that's is music. classy gentlemen . wtf happen to the real men !!!! what happen to the real ladies with class. wow I love those days !

  • Ronald DeVoe looks alot like Papoose. Real Talk!

  • i thought i was the only one who thought that ! LOL

  • I say that every time I see Papoose!

  • That was awesome!! I stood up and started dancing and singing to Mr.Telephone Man! LOL..!

  • Dam they sound good!!

  • song at :54? when their in the yellow jackets?

  • @vi3tboi2o6

The song is NE Heart Break from the Heart Break album. The 12" Faux Live Version is used here, from the single.

  • Bobby was NOT the face of this group...Ralph was just like David Ruffin was Not the face of the Temps...that would be Eddie Kendricks!! Get your shit straight fam!

  • There is only 1 lead singer in this group and that is Ralph Tresvant!! They are the G>O>A>T> Greatest of all time and Ralph took them there. They NEVER would have made it without him.

  • Not really. All of them played an equal part in their success. Ralph is not the one the ladies were buying the records for. Ron was the sex symbol. Also lets be real. Bobby was the most successful, so that speaks for something. Still ALL of them were equal to me

  • I agree!!

  • Not really because they all had successful solo careers.

  • Ya but there is no denying that Bobby and BBD were both bigger than Ralph in their solo careers.

  • Why was that though...? I mean he could and CAN actually sing and is a decent enough dancer. Dude sounds damn near like MJ at times...

  • I am not saying Ralph cannot sing he can and is a great entertainer but early n.e. did not utilize the talent of the whole group only Ralph's.Bobby and Ricky played back up to him for all those years and were always told the group would be nothing without Ralph. When they finally got out on their own and stepped out of his shadow it must have felt great for them.

  • Hmm....you're right.....I didn't mean anything just was curious why he didn't blow up more. I mean his second album was pretty good. When I need somebody is arguably one of my favorite songs. Ah well....destiny eh?

  • having the 12" ver. of all these songs from my DJ days...this is a great vid...keep up the good work...saw these guys on the heartbreak tour back in the day!!

  • my generation!!! my birthday is may 7, 1968...9 days before ralph!!! WE ARE BOTH TAURUS THE BULL!!

  • These were and still are real entertainers not like these clowns today most of whom were in the audience, Puffy, Mr. St. Louis etc... these guys stayed out of trouble besides Bobby but even he wasn't doin the shit they do now days.

  • I'm 39 and grew up with these brothas music there is no music today like NE, GUY, Troop, etc...

  • I'm 30 and I completely agree with you

  • I love NE ! You can tell how much Ralph was influenced by Michael Jackson. Everything from the jacket move, dancing and some of his vocal ranges and adlibs.

  • its amazing how they never shut bobby brown out no matter how messed up he was back then....that what true FRIENDS do when they care about someone

  • I totally agree.

  • @dr4sherry - Shut em out? Maybe its cause he sold more albums then all of them combined?? And tickets sales doubled on thier reunion tour ( CAUSE OF HIM! witch was cancled half way threw - cause couldnt get along) have ripped him several times! Called money.

  • I still love their moves

  • This is the best and one of the only groups who still sellout a concert. They have stood the test of time

  • WHOO!!! THESE MY BABIES!!

  • i love how they wear suits thats classy thats how i am im a suit guy

  • true that and we could go back and say that if there was no Temptations so forth and so on, but let's face NE changed the game for teen male groups because basically the Jacksons were alittle older except Michael and well you know the Tempts were older when they started so do you see my point? But I am thankful for the Jackson 5 and the Temptations

  • what is the name of the song that begins at 3:18

  • poison

  • Poison by Bel Biv Devoe

  • how the fuck don't you know poison?

  • TRUE!!! lol...

  • lol...give him a break Larsreal...everybody doesn't know that song.

  • good video!

  • NE The greatest of all time. Just did catch the right breaks. If it wasn't for NE there would be no other boy groups no NKOTB. No Backstreet Boys no n'sync no nothing PERIOD

  • To the one who said they don't like Johnny, hey he the best singer in the group. I was listening to him before he joined NE. I been a NE fan since they hit in 1983.

  • My favorite group os all time.Wish they would quit fighting with each other and get back 2gether.N.E. 4 life!

  • I love New Edition, I just can't stan Johnny Gill!

  • they need to quit playin and get back together

  • They get back together, you're forgetting that they performed at the BET Awards months ago.

  • I will always love them!

  • is it jus me or when theyre performing on stage theres always something wrong with their mics???

  • nope.. it's true...

  • This was really nice. NE4Life!

  • yesssssssssssssss thats my shittttt

  • Someone who appreciates and loves NE like me,,,LOVE IT! They definitely still got it! I wish someone would give them a REAL record deal(ahem....diddy did didley) they could have a huge comeback. If NKOTB can fill arenas again, they surely can! Thanks for that!

  • This is awesome.

  • Loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • eso es union hay el ego no a danado la relacion que tienen que sigan adelante yo no soy seguidor de ellos pero reconosco que no es facil la trayectoria

  • THIS IS HOTT!

    NE4LYFE BABY!!!

  • gracias por la video

  • is that jamie foxx in the very begining?

  • I think so.

    Shanice is at :55

  • noo

  • no not jamie foxx, was guy from video of "if it isnt love" played thier manger in video? but not foxx

  • No, that's Brooke Payne, Ronnie's uncle.

  • Does anyone have the performance by R. Kelly?

  • you know, that 25th anniversary show on BET was the best show they ever had in my opinion. The performances was a breath of fresh air, and it wasn't your average current musicians performing.

  • Why did Bobby get a separate entrance? He wasn't pulling a bobby brown and NE, like a Jimmy Ruffin and the Temptations ego, right? I'm not too sure about the history of NE, but I do love their songs.

  • I just typed the same thing while watch this video on another channel.

  • I don't think so......They announced Bobby Brown, it was "David" Ruffin, not Jimmy, his younger brother, he was a soloist.

  • no group ever broke up, had individual success and came back in great form like NE...GREATEST GROUP EVER!!! I saw them at MSG for the Home Again tour w/ Bobby and it was the best show I had ever seen.

  • honestly... ....THE JACKSONS/J5 ...THE TEMPS ...AND NEW EDITION...!!! ALL I NEED!!

  • im only 14 but i LOVE new edition

  • same here!

  • denisearnold >>> Yes! You sound like me. Love them for live. I'll drop money quick for NE, Prince, Whitney and Bey. Quick!

  • I can actually say that I grew up listening to New Edition. I will love them for life.

  • Most talented bunch i have ever seen

  • pure talent. didn't go by looks coz they talent they got!

  • The first cassette I bought as a kid! man, NE is unarguably the most unrivaled boy band in the last 20-30 years.. how many others actually spunoff into so many different successful entities? none. Pure talent, I love it!

  • ralph tresvant is the lead mostly

  • who is the lead singer??

  • New Edition never actually had a real lead singer. They all shared parts on most songs.

    NE Heartbreak, Crucial, Sensitivity- Ralph

Rub You The Right Way- Johnny Gill

    Poison- BBD

Candy Girl- Ralph, Ricky, and Johnny

    Cool It Now- Ralph

Mr. Telephone Man- Ralph, Bobby & Ricky

    Isn't Love- Ralph

Can You Stand the Rain- Johnny, Ricky & Ralph

  • apparently this is all we're going to get for the 25th anniversary..i just heard there's no tour, no album, no nothing...except for the song they did with new kids on the block...

  • Machelle3200,this is shame on New Edition group 25th anniversary there's no tour,no album,no nothing...only old songs..shame !But im happy they still together and alive thats...lol..lol

  • I remember seeing this when it came on NE killed this shit and Bobby Brown showed his ass, I loved it. R. Kelly performed this night also and tore the house down. Amazing show, I wish they air it again so I can tape it.

  • Really why is that?

  • i have no idea...i guess it all fell through..but they do have a really hot song with new kids on the block. i did a fan video for it..check it out...

  • The songs you listed weren't any kind of support for your argument.

Ralph would be considered lead, he's heard on almost every song. Ricky, Johnny, and Bobby all could very well hold there own.

  • Wasn't making an argument just stating the facts but who cares?

  • Ralph still sexy

  • Wow, this was good.

  • ralph is my favorite. There aren't any groups out now that even compare. B2K was wack. All the groups break up now.

  • BBD always had the best Dancers. Those chicks were sick wit it.
