There is a quick simple solution to global warming and climate change. It is called Muon Catalysed Fusion. As worked on Star Scientific. NO CO2. NO Greenhouse Gases. NO Carbon Tax. NO Toxic Waste. The source is dueterium from the World's Oceans - virtually limitless. It is cheap to produce. WE NEED IT NOW. See the website "Star Scientific Limited", Blog "The Big Picture by Andrew Horvath", Youtube video - "In the Footsteps of Fusion"
@ReasonSharp I think the salinty has effects on the gulf stream as it changes the density of water, we know that the gulf stream is the reason the u.k and parts of europe are kept relativatly warm during winter, when compared to parts of the world which are on the same or near the same latitude to that of the uk. Fresh water could distrupt the flow of the gulf stream and plunge parts of the world into subzero temperatures. i dont study geography so i may be wrong please let me know if i am !
Salinity? I thought we are still having trouble understanding how major factors affect the Earth's climate. I don't know the theory, but ocean salinity seems minor in comparison to, say, CO2 levels, storms, eruptions, solar cycles, etc. Can anyone explain how salinity affects climate?

Yeah, and who cares about science and reality? I care much more about non-sensical conspiracy-theories and doomsday-prophecies! Hehe: )

Who cares about advancing science and knowledge. I'm much more interested in what Justin Bieber had for breakfast.
