It is clear his delivery sucks, and the "I told you" (0:45 - 1:25) attitude is that of his egotistical style. Also very telling that he made this on the eve of the Continental strike. This was a precursor to the failed strategy of threatening Eastern employees with Lorenzo and subsequent sale to Texas Air three years later.
