Does this help in getting rid of acne and redness? I don't have major acne, but it is aggravating.

It is not recommended that the mitten is used on acne as it can actually spread the acne if it's severe enough. However if you have very mild acne or have periods of time when you have clear skin, by using the mitten it actually helps to prevent acne.

Kind of a catch 22 really.

It definitively assists with redness. I used to have it pretty badly, but now my skin is unrecognizable.

No dry skin, no acne, no scarring, no redness :)
