  • He's changed his tune somewhat since colossus, his focus is more on china overtaking the us than the us declining through fiscal overstretch, both will happen though in the next few years

  • Rose is in denial of the Fall of America & its triple deficit: private, federal & foreign trade. Deification (of the US/nation) inherently leads to such denial.

As for Keynes advocating totalitarianism for his ruinous US deficit ideas‼ The only posed opposite, neocon Friedman, is about corporate laissez fairism (of ancient Rome/Aristotle) and this is also totalitarian: corporations displace rule of the people and human rights.

As for solutions: Obama proposes and the Chimerica Congress disposes.

  • In the second world war , the japanese were unable to admit that they were military defeted.

In 1990s the , the Americans were unable to admit that they werent the richest in the world anymore.

Both situations resulted in sueside missions, wery different in execution but still sueside missions.

  • Jews control all the banks and interest rates, Jews dictate policy in america. Jews pushed for 2 very expensive wars. Jews made a killing (goldman sachs) in the recession. Call them Neo-cons or Jews, they have sunk this country after only 50 years of abuse. Did i forget to mention the cost of propping up Israel? wake up america before it is too late. Ooops errr IT IS TOO LATE. Watch your rivals rise and overtake you in the next 20yrs. Watch china assert its authority in its own back yard........

  • I love his british accent.

  • to become a saving economy we need higher interest rates... end the fed!!

  • extremely intelligent and so hot! A man every girl would proudly introduce to their parents!

  • @josi19831 Even though he has that irritating trait of the British Middle and Upper classes of being slightly racist, protective of wealth and privilege and convinced by his own sense of moral purpose?

  • @hughthejew if you knew the irritating trait the British working class.....plus his wife is black, racist to whom?

  • I think, he is working secretly or being paid for by China, he is promoting China power and attacking the US.

  • We are done!!! 44.5 million on foodstamps, twice that many on welfare or social security, real unemployment at over 15%, 1/3 of America's children are fat and diabetic, and 1.5 million abortions anually. This is the end. I hope all you liberal democrats are happy. You have successfully ruined the greatest country in the world. Freedom has been flushed down the drain. I told my 9 and 11 year old sons today that they will soon have no country. How's that hope and change going???

  • @09geauxtigers

With all due respect, it's really the Neo Cons and most "conservatives" who have led innocent Americans into illegal wars, to die for the sake of big business and multi-national corporations. The numbers that you've mentioned are ancillary compared to the number of military bases, military expenditure, costs of wars, corporate profits, loss of human life, all at the expense of keeping the dollar as the reserve currency and maintaining the Status Quo. All empires die, my friend

  • @thearchitect27 I hope you enjoy your gubermant cheese. Have fun standing in your welfare line. Obama will be playing basketball and hanging out with celebs while America burns.

  • Oh my God!!! The topic says "new world order"...this must be a globalization, illuminati...ahhhhhhhhhhhh everybody run!!!!

  • I read "The Ascent of Money. Financial history of the world" great book I command

  • He should stop talking with an American inflection!

  • @RepublicOfVietnam

Well, to me it sounds like a pure British dialect. But I'm Danish, so I guess I can't really tell!?

  • @RepublicOfVietnam Niall Ferguson is a Scottish born professor at Harvard University. He speaks English with a slight West Scottish accent, which might be mistaken for an "American inflection" by anybody only familiar with BBC British English. Does it matter?

  • Niall seems like a spaz in this video, he almost seems like he had way too much coffee and is either hyper from it or really needs to pee.

  • America's wealthiest state, California, the pinnacle of the American dream is in dire straits. Yes there is a global economic recovery, in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. Even Russia is doing well. America is now the sick man of the world, and if you want to know where America is headed, check out California, the biggest economy in the US is falling apart.

  • European Union has a GDP equal to that of the US, yet they don't get even a passing mention in all this "engine of world growth" talk?

  • @LCTesla

That it because of the mainstream media. Europe is an economic titan but with uneven growth, you have rich Northern countries and poorer Club med countries. Europe is becoming more and more effective as a federal entity, as Europe integrates further, America will look lamer. And Australia?!! Australia is doing great, mostly because of China and other Asian markets.

  • chinaownseverything <-------- FAKE ACCOUNT!!

  • hopefully america falls to destruction which it has brought to many countries.

  • Australia is the only country in the world that didn't go into recession! suck shit wurld!....

  • @Amunication And it is the third most economically free country in the world!

  • @Amunication selling coal to communists make you proud? what a fucking moron....

  • @Amunication Clearly, you've never heard of Poland, one of the most neoliberal countries in Europe.

  • Good observation Mr. zack888.... he does act as such @ 7:47 onward.

Funny how he half halfheartedly tries to curb his enthusiasm, too. He truly is a NWO shill.

  • 0:37 He went right into business

  • Peter Schiff did, Niall

  • This guy is an expert?

  • I'll stand by my opinion since 2008 that the highest standard of living to be recorded for the USA will be 2007. We'll never get that high again.

  • @phillippatterson1 Actually, the 1950s was the highest standard of living

  • @phillippatterson1 I'm thinking possibly in relative terms the 50's may have been the best or even the 20's prior to the crash. But I'm not sure, what do you think?

  • @phillippatterson1

I agree, 2007 was a relatively care free year for America, America still felt economically robust. 2008 was tumultuous and ended with the GFC. 2009 and 2010 saw America continue to stumble. 2010 saw many other countries return to strong growth while America remained in neutral. First time where America got the cold and the world remained healthy.

  • @phillippatterson1

thats the height of the bubble

  • @phillippatterson1 wrong, try 1979 when the USA equality of wealth was the most equal (because the rch were taxed the most).

  • Lol this guy is a Harvard Professor and he thinks the way to level economic competition between China and America is to wait till the Chinese become lazy fat bastards. What a brilliant strategy this guy's a genius! Your sat there with Ace high trying to bluff a guy with a Flush... Good luck!

  • thank you very much..I know this country sucks but wow..so much suckier with an intelligent bent

  • Finally some videos about the recession and economics without all the end of the world crap

  • Make that ' gist '

  • I didn't understand everything but I sure got the jist. Yikes!

  • I love the Krugman slight.

  • Niall has a real passion in his eyes :)
