Thanks for the video! I just got an Excalibur II and I'm wondering about what you've posted for settings. There's not a "12" for Sensitivity. It only goes to 10 and when I've tried to use the high sensitivity (10) in the gulf or ocean it goes crazy from the minerals in the sea water. Are you sure you don't have it on Auto or on the lowest setting? (1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest)
Great video! Well done! I love the editing & the photography. This is what I'll be doing soon when I get my garrett at pro. I have all the other gear. I also live in Florida. :-)
Great Video, Thanks for all the info. I have also Detected with Chuck In Miami a few times a well, Really nice guy! We should all meet up one day for a beach hunt! HH
Thanks Joe it was well done. I have used tanks before and I had a hard time hearing the deep targets. And where I hunt boats are not permitted so I use no dive flag I stay where all the swimmer are.
Joe, Thanks a lot! This is a masterpiece, great footage and perfect editing. A very nice production, right up there at the top! Keep up the good work! Chuck moves underwater as if he in air, no wonder he does so well.
Wouldnt it be easier to just wear a tank and stay down longer during a hunt . During my hunts I could stay down using a 3000 psi full tank at 30 ft for about 2 1/2 hours at a time. Always came up when I had 500 psi left. Enjoyed the video.
Yes, Chuck uses them also, think they are called SMBs which are inflated on the surface before diving to mark the diver's position during drift dives, night dives, mist or disturbed sea conditions. The area he was hunting was off limits to any craft and there were several people in the water around him so this was one of the times he felt it was safe without. Now there was one girl snorkling that came in from futher out that day using one..thanks everyone for the great feedback..
Great video but can I recommend that you guys have a floating tube with a divers flag up on the service, maybe attached to a small anchor or to the cameraman's belts so that drunk or stupid power boat etc people don't come ripping through the shallows and hit you.
