  • If there's a more beautifully desolate, moody, invigorating, powerful, or engaging song than this in the history of Americana I'm yet to hear it. Richmond Fontaine, Wilco, then daylight to whoever else in my view. Purity. Would love the chord progression if anyone's ever bothered to figure it out. On the recording I think it's capo 1 and starts with D Dmaj7 G sorta thing and there seems to be a Bm shift soon after that, then I get lost in the swirl of the pedal steel

  • Sorry Schultz, i took this with a handheld camera - severe memory issues, which meant I only got a portion of the song...dammit. Make sure you take note of the blonde trying to find someone to dance with (unsuccessfully - wrong club) until the drunk in the flanno gives her some love. chuckle chuckle.

  • Hey Sideholio, where's the first half of the song? And how about posting more of this gig?
