  • "Catrapo" landing!!!!

  • I've hit much harder than that lol!

  • @1098234567 really? between playing cod and minecraft???

  • @cgeller13 And you assume I do those things because?

  • @1098234567 obviously you have some sort of intrest in it according to YOUR videos YOU uploaded.

  • @cgeller13 Haha yea I guess I do. I guess pilots can't play video games then?

  • I know that drive a car, talking with a cell phone is dangerous, but what about fly an airplane filming your own video?

  • You saw the face of death, huh?

  • nail the airpeed and you'll nail the landing.

  • a tad more power when landing may help...sounded like he was completely out of the throttle

  • The most dangerous part of that video that I saw was not landing on centerline.

  • get some damn aileron into the crosswind for pete's sake! I've landed in heavier winds than that on a 50' wide strip. You've gotta be able to maintain centerline, you just must!

  • You were no where in the vicinity of death, I've had this happen many times it's part of the game.

  • i guess the camera guy died after the bounce

  • This is just a bounce landing not bad at all...

  • can i have your lightsaber? oh wait its the dislike bar

  • I died when it happened to me, you're lucky

  • bhuuuu that was close! glad you survived! lucky you didn't hit the center-line..you'd probably bounced off again even harder! Thanks God nothing happened!

  • @chrigiammann why would hitting the centre line make the plane bounce more? i am a pilot and am interested by this thought/idea...

  • @TheYozStudios i was just being ironic ;-) sorry for the misunderstanding! The center line hasn't made me bounce off again so far, either.

  • "woaa" hahahha, what else can you say when that happens? lol oh well you're alive.

  • The center line is there for a reason...

  • Porpoised. Did he land on the nose gear?

  • Youve never been in a small aircraft before have you

  • You're not a pilot my friend! Have you ever hear about "go arround"??? Horrible!!!

  • However, a piper when it sinks, ... it sinks but keep your wings level!

  • That was a bumpy Touch and Go there, keep practicing...

  • Dumbfuck. Quit over exaggerating. Fucktard. Thats just a shitty pilot.

  • I don't think u realize that planes do that all the time! Its pretty common and harmless. Just don't wack your face on anything.

  • "Almost crashed"? "Could have died" ? Over a little bounce? You have got to be kidding.

  • insufficient x-wind correction?

  • A good landing is one where you walk away..... a great landing is where you can use the plane again! Happy Flying... Keep up the touch-n-gos

  • you should have died.

  • no, you landed with a tail wind.

  • You're supposed to land in the middle of the runway, not on one side, and, you probably wouldn't have died, you came in a little too fast is all.

  • If you bounce: Full Throttle- you just took off. Go around. But really bouncing isn't super dangerous unless you reflex-nose down.

  • Nice stroboscopic effect with the prop. Looks like a you experienced a little porpoising. What air field is that?

  • more right rudder when you flare...it's not an english road :) - don't forget slipstream and torque are still producing left turning tendencies during the roundout.

  • came in a lil hot ied say...scrub off that speed man!! lol

  • Anyone else hear a cat at 1:20?

  • Stupid!

  • Get those feet working!

  • A little bit off to the side of the runway eh? :P

Where I fly the runway is only 35ft wide, if this was there he'd have been off the runway :P

  • Anytime you are uneasy with a landing it's always a good call to go-around despite what a lot of people here are saying. You were off center and looked like you were struggling with the x-wind so it's better, IMHO, that you did go around. Most crashes during landings are caused by trying to salvage the landing.

  • No way a crash, you could easly brought her in. No need for a go round,

but hey that's your call. Blue skies.

  • LOL that's not a crash it's just an attempted landing and a bumpy one at that. Goodness the extent to people go to get you to view their videos.

  • I've had worse landings. So has every pilot. Trust me, you weren't close to crashing yet.

  • I almost crashed once, but I didn't so it was no big deal. }8-(

  • A little rough, but every student pilot has at least one or two of these during training. The wheel struts are very strong, and they can withstand the repeated abuse of student pilots. Worst case scenario, this could have been an "excursion" into the grass or a fender bender...certainly not fatal.

  • Noobs almost cracked it

  • THis pilot is a complete DUMB ASS!!! Totally wreckless....

  • Damn...I will never fly with you brother

  • Definately need to practice the spot landings

  • The comment that they could have died is a little extream I think...

  • @MrMalak2k6 If the airplane is what I think it is (e.g. Grumman AA-1 series) bounces could be fatal, as they could flip inverted if full power isn't immediately applied and go-around initiated.

  • gee, wonder what that white painted line is out the passenger window...

  • lol you just bounced buddy. it can be a nice experience to your passengers 2 landings on 1 :) next time just add power so the second landing is smooth and btw never make such a dangerous go around procedure, if you are in the ground and you dont set your airplane for take off it can be very hard too make a safe take off. never take off whit out triming the airplane it could be really hard to pull up. Fly safe

  • HE SHOULD HAVE STARTED THE GO AROUND SOONER..

  • That was absolutely horrible

  • Good video, horrible title and description. Thanks for sharing.

  • my God your approach speedis so low..you can tell that by listening to the engines sound..same plane im using thats why i know..hey dude if you keep on doing that you'll crash soon at final.watch out for shears..

  • Just because there is a crosswind doesn't mean that you have to point the camera in to the wind. Turn the Aileron in to the wind not the camera, get your priority right.

  • I would like to learn to fly but watching this Ill keep my feet on the ground..

  • @fcunderwood Dont predecate your decision off a video like this! HA!! Sad, this is probably only like 5% of pilots... Get a good instructor, and you'll be safe and have fun!

Where do you want to get your license? (Polite way of asking where you are going to fly?)

  • Centerlines...who needs 'em!

  • The centerline is there for a reason!

  • Tower: "Do you have a pen?"

  • I just watched a student at my flight training facility bounce the plane, and wreck it its not funny! if you bounce even once you immediately increase power and go around!

  • @mayorkory You don't need to go around just because you bounced a bit (that's silly).. it depends on the circumstances, conditions, etc.. But this guy could've simply used better rudder control to keep aligned with centerline, and if he bounced (no biggie in this case) he could've just added a quick bit of power maintained a few feet off the rnwy, and then slowly retarded the power like experienced pilots all over the world do every day to include 737s and larger. He needs practice W/OUT PAX!

  • @likeawhispr I agree with you but im just going from what i know at the moment you must understand that. With more expierence maybe but at the time if i bounce i generally add power and if i dont have the room i go back up depends on the bounce i guess

  • @mayorkory You'll get a better understanding with time and I wish you well in your flight training! Just remember that what you learn in your training will only be a foundation, you fly the aircraft according to the conditions that exist at the time. You'll perhaps learn to retard the throttle to 1,700 rpm+carb ht+flaps, etc.. but that can all change depending on the wind, altitude of the airport, temperature, etc.. Nothing is written in stone so to speak :)

  • How did this guy get a license? How did a CFI let him solo for that matter?

  • i can't believe your instructor let you land like this.

get the centerline or you will kill yourself one day

  • good call on the go around ! seems like many ppl dont see how danegerious this was

  • any landing you can walk away from is a good landing

  • I love how the last 20 sec. of video is doorframe

  • There is a thing called a go around USE IT... it might save your life.. and your airplane....

  • Yeah I would not have stopped and taken credit for that landing either. Touch and get the hell out of here!

  • haha doing touch and gos :D

  • Camera man almost as bad as pilot ha ha ha watch my landing for an example of how to land. Keep flying practice makes perfect

  • This isnt the UK... get on that center line!

  • @urchin34 LOL my very same thought

  • What was the wind?

  • Dude you need to pratice more...

  • 1. you drifted off the centerline... 2. you were too slow.. 3. you flared too early.. when you hit ground effect you should have pulled the power slightly..then as u sank back down add power, establish a neutral attitude then pull power and flare again..

  • after 1:12 the camera guy died from the landing?

  • How did this "pilot" get his license in the first place?

  • lol at that last bounce you can hear the airplane scream in pain.

  • @Jstewhd The copilot, dumbass

  • A runway, is not a road. You drive in the centre....

  • Ummmmm who's video taping this!! That's probably why you 1. weren't on the center line and 2. you bouncing everywhere! Flying isn't something you just not pay attention to.

  • @CaptainMan117 FSX is terrible for really practicing flying because of the lack of tactile feel and feedback. It's great for learning instrument procedures though.

  • @ClancD and practicing radio calls as long as people don't find you too odd talking into your monitor with an unplugged aviation headset.

  • yeah he could die when I punch him in the head for such a dumb-ass title

  • lol Wow dumbass Camera work, and fucking stupid ass parinoid faggots as passengers! grow some fucking balls for once in your life fucking wankers!

  • Could of died? LOL, the landing gear can take the bounce, as long as the mains touch first. You were fine, and he did the right thing, he did a go around. We all make mistakes

  • O-M-G!!!! Is the runway ok?????

  • It was a touch and go, however it did not maintain power slowed down way too soon. Also could be crosswind situation. Next time try to maintain power. You're making the same mistake as I did landing on the numbers you have all longer runway in front of you.

  • I can't tell if there was a crosswind or the Mr Shakeycam just liked holding the camera sideways. Either way, if you didn't bend any metal then it's a good landing.

  • Who is working the camera...Stevey Wonder ?

  • big whoop dee do. You could have died, Yeah Right!!! This is called porpoising and the only thing it can result in is damage to the airplane. You need to let the airpplne touch when it is ready, don't force it to the ground, and don't stall out too high. Don't overreact. Now if you hit the top of a tree coming in to a short grass strip, that is serious.

  • @cadetsmith1 At least the pilot had the presence of mind to execute a go-around instead of committing to land after a shitty approach.

  • @argebarse True, however he had enough runway to set it down still.

  • @argebarse not a go- around,just a badly done touch and go...

  • you should work on a simulator if you have one available before you kill yourself. thats what i did.

  • Cant hate for going around

  • Damnit! Now I have to find Antov225's comment!

  • Before his first off-centerline bounce I found myself saying "go around go around go around" haha

  • Did your instructor actually solo you? REALLY? Ever hear of a Full Stall Landing, and a Wheel Landing? The two are NOT the same. Make one or ther other. And do it on the centerline.

  • Congratulations on maintaining the centre line...

  • Meh whats a centerline...

  • I don't think the GA people here know what the like/dislike buttons are for. This is a good example of a bounced landing, a mistake, and a go-around.

  • Those too icks at the top need to re-evaluate ... dont just say stay on the flight sim .... its all part of learning you divvy ... so the pilot made a mistake ... he wont next time will he ?

    Hence hes Learnt his lesson

  • Who needs a centerline? Not this guy! lol

  • Give the guy a break, we've all had landings like that at one point in training and they feel like crap, next time he'll do better.

  • @Roudy1331 Left side of the centerline is for landing, the right side for take of ;o)

  • @cadwaele Lolz

  • @Roudy1331 LOLOL!!!!

  • I don´t know what kind of Problem you have "We could have died" shit....It´s no Problem to touch the Ground twice

  • c'est tres naze...............rien d'autre a faire que de publier des merdes pareils...?

  • There's a centerline for a reason

  • Any landing you can walk away from is a good one. If the plane gets to fly again it's a great one! you were waaay high and fast in the approach but you did a correct go around, what matters is that the video, the plane and the pilot eventually made it to YouTube :)

  • I given the floatplanes harder knocks just getting them out of the hangar and into the lake.

  • you did exactly what you should. Apply power and go around.

  • no its not the reason why he did go around..thats a touch and go procedure..

  • shit video

  • Pure bullshit. Get a life clown.

  • Personally, I wouldn't have put it down that far over the line. Practice makes perfect..., to a pilot, that bounce is nothing near death, your just not use to flying in a small plane. You want to see a bounce, watch my video reply...

  • @katanaguy100 if the engine died when the vid was started (which i didnt see how far before that he turned base who knows) he might not have made the runway, turning base at the tree line is where i turn (some say too short) but i like it

  • @katanaguy100 He says in the description that he was coming in for a landing, not a touch and go. Although I would tell people it was a touch and go to save face ;)

  • flare too high?

  • hey thanks for keeping the camera on the runway for the actual landing.......

  • Happens....the pilot did the right thing and went around--that's what counts.

  • whats the reason for the long final?

  • @k2500diesel cause his dick is small

  • @k2500diesel The long final results in n00b flyers because they wait to the end of the runway to slow down to their decent speed and end up not turning base until they are a mile or more out. Judging the length of your runway and the size of your pattern will come with practice practice practice. He should have gone around before ever touching the ground. That pilot had a better view of his jacked up approach better than any viewer of this video. Good job on go around, should have been sooner.

  • you dont die cause you jumped

  • It was a Touch and Go. You didn't almost Die. You broke YouTubes TOS by posting a misleading description to get views and you ended up getting raped on ratings.

Next time try being honest with your posts.

  • Silly USA and their PPL standards

  • An overshoot on a runway that size? Embarrassing.

  • did you go to flight school?

  • I do not see anything close to hard landing. Almost crashed is umhh.... ehhh.... forget it.

  • It would have been prudent to go around when you were that far off the centreline. Lucky escape.

  • trying to force a landing is like trying to masterbate with sandpaper, mildly amusing at first but always painful in the end.

  • Nice camera work. At least as good as the landing

  • i can land my shit in the toilet more accurately than that.

  • @XdehC I hope you can, otherwise I would hate to see the state your bathrrom is in.

  • OH MY GOD! OH MY GOD! WERE ABOUT TO make a perfectly safe landing. Passenger was a wuss.

  • almost shit

  • Errm.. Dude, you didn't actually film anything......

  • Crosswind landing. You can see the windsock off the taxiway on the right. Add a bunch of trees around the airstrip makes alot of mechanical turbulence. Since I still have issues with these kinds of landings, I give the pilot props (no pun intended,) and add that the passenger is a wuss. Also, LOL at the plane on the taxiway facing the wrong way! "No way,I'm outta here!"

  • 0:50 if you hate to waste time.

  • can we say GO-AROUND?looked like a bad set up to start with.

  • I would suggest you stay out of planes , trains, cars, roller coasters, roller skates, or anything that moves. Also, give your camera to someone who knows how to use it. Get a reality check. Stay home and watch oprah. I went up once with a few people and this fat chick started screaming, "take me down", "take me down". We had to land just for her and she ruined the whole experience for the rest of us. I believe you may be that very same person.

  • Okay, couple things here. It really isn't hard putting these things on the centerline, so disappointment to the pilot. Second off, any landing you can walk away from is a good one, and you were NOWHERE near dying. Dying would be the plane lost engine power at 1000' AGL. Then you can be worried, but EVEN THEN the plane still has a pretty decent chance at getting to a field or something.

  • @virtualaircanada2458 Engine out at 1000AGL, no prob, just glide it down. Engine out and stall/spin; o ya, dead meat!

  • nice clip of the windows frame, grow yourself a couple of balls.

  • Broke one of the landing gears, no big deal.

  • we alomost died what the fuck is wrong whith u i mean ive been in a landing 3-4 worse!

  • We could have died!!

  • center lines are for people who aren't good enough to stay on one side of the road or the other.

  • @sentinelhigh stupid

  • Remember:

    Always replace your divots.
