i almost cried watching this because i have two cats myself who mean the world to me and even more than the world :')

my caregiver was worried there was a cat fight up here as i was playing this. i am disabled, but still thinking of volunteering at the local shelter. cats have loved me since i was six years old and i woke up to find the stray kitten my sister found standing on my chest looking at me.

This made me cry . As a volunteer I can't save them all but I love them with all I can without taking my insanity then when they go away either in a new home or death I feel pain and when there cage is filled I will give my all to that new guy or gal until it starts over again.

Aaawh, cats are so adorable... It must be really hard to visit a shelter and decide which pet(s) you're going to take home; they all deserve nice owners. In a few years I'm probably going to adopt two cats from a shelter. I can't imagine how sad it must be to see those curious little faces, knowing that you have to make a choice.

I love the cat at 1:20 and 1:36 the one that put her paw in your hands , you could buy a ranch and have them all there ! I just want to love all the animals in the world so much . I pray to God almost every night to save them but we have to do some thing too . It is really smokin hot when a guy cares about the less fortunate especially animals and even more so ...cats because guys are usually associated with dogs . Keep up the work , I m proud of you :)

@gomajorsandgojays Unfortunately no. Granted a majority of our cats do get adopted, we don't have the ability to save them all.

@tinkermi We have several rescue groups that come in and take a lot of the sick cats out, and those cats will be adopted out with a clean bill of health after quite some time. But when those rescues are full... What else is there to do?

Btw I'm not sure if you realize this or not, but I'm only a volunteer at this shelter, it's not mine.

@AK49BWL Oh this is very sad indeed. I too work as a volunteer and take in a lot of cats myself from the shelter (in Mexico) and then find homes by videotaping the cats and putting the link on local blogs.. I wish you god's help with the poor kitties..

I have a serious, uncurable ilness which causes depression. To cut down stress and think happier thoughts I watch hours and hours of kitten /cat videos, sometimes puppies as well. I've been doing this for months. For some reqason it works. This is the best, most creative cat video I have seen. I will watch this video again and keep it fresh in my memory in the darker days to come. bless you and thanks!

@AgentThis99 Couldn't tell ya. She was labeled as Domestic Medium Hair though. There's really no way to know (unless the structure of the cat simply gives it away, and even then they're called a mix) what breed they are.

This is a beautiful video!! These cats are getting love and kindness and care and are happy while waiting for their forever homes! poor babies they dont deserve that kind of home. . .i think more people should adopt the older cats rather than the kittens. . .thats what im gonna do when my cat passes away im gonna go 2 a local shelter and adopt 1 or 2 adult cats so they can have a second life at a happier home.

I'm am do happy that I MIGHT be helpbg a cat out there. I want yo adopt a cat abd my dad said maybe but yes a softy abd sure to give in. I an just really happy that people volunteer to use their houses as foster homes. Without foster hmes a cat or dog or any animal can expirience the confers of a home abd a loving person. I wish i could save them all! If only more people would understand the responsibilities it takes to take care of any animal, and the importance of spaying and neutering, then many of these cats wouldn't be in this position. It's really sad to think of, but it is true, just love them as much as you can, always adopt from a shelter and volunteer. Beautiful video, and beautiful kitties!

Cats are so soothing. Especially their purring. How can anyone pet a cat and hear it purr and not feel good? I wanted to volunteer at the humane society but I will bring home a bunch of cats. Not kittens, but cats. I tend to favor the ones that are hurt or no one likes.
