@fudgsicles A lot of players are listed more than they are. JJ barea is listed at 6 foot that guys a solid 5 10' at most. Its a depth chart thing really why they get boosted because thats what they are in ball shoes. Demarcus cousins is listed at 6 11' but at the combine he came in at 6 9' and a half without shoes so you see how players height are often exaggerated

They measure you barefoot at 5'11", then round that off to the nearest decimal point (ex: actual height w/o shoes may be 5'11.25", but gets rounded to 6'0" solid). Then do the same measurement in basketball shoes with THICK insoles and add it to your "exaggerated" barefoot height (in b-ball shoes from 6'0" you may get measured up to 6'1".25... then that gets rounded up to the nearest decimal point).

So then Shannon is like 6´2 6´3 altought they have listed at 6´4. Between 1´89 and 1´93 m then. Jordan was listed at 6´6 but was more like 6´7 (2´01m) and Kobe even 6´8 (2´03-2´04m). Almost every player is listed taller than they really are. Jordan and Kobe are exceptions. Jordan purposely decided not to take the extra inch or two they could have listed him. Kobe was originally listed 6'8. He took a cue from Jordan and had his listing adjusted several years into his career.

Shannon Brown never did. His listed height is still with the extra inch and a half they give you in shoes.

If you look at the film, you can see that Shannon get's his head about as high as guys like Jordan or Lebron... who are anywhere from 4-6 inches taller respectively. That means that's Shannon's vert is higher because he is shorter but reaching the same height.

He is listed at 6'3... but I have seen him stand next to Kobe and he looks about 4 inches shorter. I think he is about 6'2... maybe 6'3 in shoes. Kobe is a legit 6'6.
