You cant just say the geo2 wrecks the dm10, eclipse has had 2 runs at making a spool valve marker and dye has had 10 years of making them, if you want a spoolie go for a dm

Personally i have to go with a Geo 10. i have both a dm 10 and a Geo 10 and i use the geo most of the time. i think the DM is a nicer shot but the geo just feels better in my hands and to me is better than the dm.

geo's are nothing more than an expensive ION. compare the bolts in the geo and ion lmk what you see. DM's are accurate, fast and now lighter than ever.

Just got a Dm9. :) It's got the B-wing bolt. I haven't played with it yet. I don't know ANYTHING about Dye's never owned one never taken one apart. Just a question, I hear what I think is a leak, but I'm not sure. I hear it from the feedneck, I can only hear it when I put my ear on the feedneck and I can barely hear it. Since I'm really scared to take it apart can you tell me what to do. I've already cleaned and lubed the bolt. Also, should I trade it for a for an ember Geo?

things i look in a gun when i buy from most important to least. acurate(tight paint patterns) quietness,light,kick,how the gun feels in hands, parts availabilty,thand efficientcy at least 6pods per fill on a 68/4500. those who would rate efficientcy higher would be the ones who play woods ball or anywhere that has a lack of air. either than that thats y i didnt rate efficientcy high cause air is free for me thanks

i dare to compare! spoolie vs poppet that is! when i go out and buy i new market i dont specifically make sure it has to be a spoolie. sure i keep in mind what nature of operation is the marker. but all an all you gotta shoot whats out there and forget that it is a spoolie or poppet, and figure out what is good for you ; P

all an all cant stress the point on how its personal prefference. unless u ask for someones opinion, on a spoolie or poppet you gotta buy or know someone with the 2 guns and compare it to your needs or goals. use the process of eliminations weigh out the pros n cons on both makers and you will know which one is better in your own opinion. just for some ppl who wants to compare spoolies to poppets ; )

i hate how ppl say you cant compare a poppet valve to a spool vale cause in the end there both gun and they have the same purpose its like sayin you cant comepare a 350z to a rx8 cause they have differnt engines. besides the point that one is a spoolie and one is poppet, i like to compare the feel,loudness efficientcy, weight and kick consistancy.thats how guns should be rated but thats my opinion

glad i can help someone! yes spool usually is smoother ego ten in my opinion best ego todate once broke in. ive never owned a dye but have shot them. but that would be my next gun waiting for second gen NT's. if i had a video camera i would love to try and make a non bias comparison on all guns. that would prolly prolly be the next investment. only thing i didnt like on the ego10 is its loud but quieter than most ego's thats y i got a luxe

i have never shot a geo wit the kit a normal geo i have shot and never shot a ego 10 but the ego 9 was nice but something aout it i didnt like so i am gettign a ego 10 idk the geo for a spooly is too loud (doesnt really bother me) i like the geo beign small im small but i like ego's better i am not a gun tech or very good with that stuff just shooting ppl so any tips help also idk i dont like the fattness of spools can hit stuff with em really geo is ok though :P just my thoughs

depends if you know how to take apart a dm go with that otherwise id go with the geo the dm guns are crazy to take apart and but they are the smoothest shot in paintball the geo wont shot as smooth its kinda like a G3 because they are both dump value designs

overall i would take a dm but if you dont like getting into the guts of a gun then go with the geo

@Cnoddings Personaly Exp.. the Ego's are made far Beter then the DM's.... parts and Design are in evry way beter.... Ego users have the same Stock parts on there guns 3 -5 years later wile a DM... ware abd tare gets to it evry few months of use, also in weather conditions you dont need to mess with an Ego .. Dm's you have to constantly maintain they get all goopy in humit days .. and shoot really inconsistanlt on hot dry days

Being on his team i know that its not the fact that he feels like he has to own everything, or just buy it because he can. He will buy what he feels interested in and what he thinks he will enjoy. Another thing many of you have to realize is that he trades MANY of his guns for new guns and store credit, therefore making getting new guns cheaper
