great lesson! as always :) I wonder how you like "Tientos de la Bahia" by Paco Peña, and if you could explain something about it. It's such an amazing piece !
@delboy1978uk heheh you know I love your lessons! :) well about "Tientos de la Bahia", it's simply my favourite Tientos music ever, and Peña plays it with unbelievable feeling and accuracy!! If you could make a simple lesson about that song it would be amaazing !!! :) One can notice there is a certain structure, and bits of "Tangos" in it. Could you, for example, explain the chords progression used in that song? Maybe a few falsetas, and that crazy arabic-sounding part in the end :D
the juan martin books are great for learning the different forms and all the falsetas are very traditional! glad i could help! all the best from glasgow!
Hello Derek, Nice lesson, always fun to ear you, is it your bathroom studio ? It's sounds good !!! See You ...Phil (i lost your email because my computer was broken)
you sound like a student who is being elder brother, blazing the path for your younger brothers. You seem to have the love and if life isn't it's commonly perverse self to artists you should become proficient. You seem mad eno to get some touches of genius.
Thanks for sharing, that's a great thing in this case : ) iow, thans mate
nice lesson derek! not that i can judge but i see your right hand technique is getting a lot better too nice :) must have been pretty much hell to learn to loosen up your hands after years of playing with a plectrum. i know as i did try to teach a friend some flamenco technique and plays lead in a rock band
How much better a guitar sounds on the toilet!
