@coolfriends12 you obviously have never owned a beagle. I kenneled my beagle up until he was like 7... at first because its part of training a dog, they dont piss where they sleep. Then it was because he's a beagle and gets into everything, i didn't want him to hurt himself. Now he loves his crate. He goes and lays down in it when he's tired.
I keep my beagle in a kennel during the day. He experiences separation anxiety if we leave him out while we're not home. (He's a shelter dog.) Leaving him out is not only dangerous for our house, but also for him. He's happy in his kennel and goes in voluntarily. He even puts himself to bed every night at 9:30. A house is just a bigger cage, and it can contain a lot of very dangerous stuff for curious puppies and anxious dogs. I'd rather him be safe.
If any of these people who say 'poor dog' actually owned a beagle, they wouldn't be saying it!! It is in the best interests of the dog for it to be contained when you aren't around, because they are very curious dogs, and could really hurt themselves if left to roam the whole house.
Crate training a puppy is an effective tool to ensure they don't stress when left at the vets or when they need to be contained. This is a fantastic setup and one I use with my kittens as well, to teach them where to go pee etc. Beautiful pup.
I hate the peta freaks that post "that poor dog, i feel sooooooo bad for it". Really? Do you reallllly? This dog has got it niiiice. Indoors, food, toys.....wow.
And on other thing, why the fuck is this video so long, learn to edit.

Yeah I can really see you love her. You lock her in the cage. Poor pup.

Would you rather put a 12-week old dog:
A) In a 6 foot long cage attached to her kennel so she can roam around all day.
B) In a 2 ft. squared kennel that's she's locked in all day.
Tough choice. You obviously have never owned a dog or know anything about it. Anyone who lets a 12 week old dog run amuck in the house is ridiculous.
She now has the house all day, every day. Train first.
