Other bands are The Bauhaus with their song Bela Lugosi´s Dead. They did the song to honour a great actor Bela Lugosi who played Count Dracula in the 30´s. It´s to be said that this was the very first Goth song ever, and that this song started the whole subculture.:) Double Dare is another great song of The Bauhaus. :)

Interesting- Pampered Spanish youth do detailed repro of old British subcultures; e.g. Mod, Punk, early Goth. There's an ambiguous relationship with reality and they seem too serious. The Franco years must've been repressive so they relive pasts they were denied: Perhaps. One band here is called Deathcamp Project. Can't begin to explain why that's so wrong- Not even a nazi skinhead band would've used it. I know it's just cultural misunderstanding. they're only having fun- so good luck

@truefreak131 What you said is true except for the last part. Why is your last 6 words false because Goth music moved into the early 80's. Post Punk grew out of punk rock. Goth music started in the late 70's bela lugosi's dead from Bauhaus released in 1979 was the notable start for goth music.

Sure clearly he doesn't know shit about his music, if he's calling metal more goth than the old goth bands like Bauhaus and Christian Death (for one, one band can't be more goth than another, you're either goth or not, not more or not less).
But I started listening to Bauhaus, Clan Of Xymox, Switchblade Symphony (I know they're industrial), the Cure, and Joy Division when I was younger than he is.
So it is possible.
